2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 13

Alright. I've made my mind up and I want to get rid of Cooper. I'm going to trust my gut this time, I generally make my trades based on what others say/what I'm reading but this time I'm going to trust my gut. No doubt now its a bad choice, but whatever. No point worrying about shit this time of the season. I want Carter + Fifita, but I'm around 30K short.

Option 1..

Cooper - Fensom
Evans - Carter

Leaves me with $151K

Option 2..

Cooper - Fensom
Leuluai - Carter

Leaves me with exactly $0

FRF of Surgess + Graham
2RF of Parker, Fensom, Carter, Taupau + Rochow

I quite like it. Trading out what I think wont be as much of a gun this year (Cooper) and bringing in Fensom and a cash cow in Carter.

Of those I like option 2. But I'm not entirely sold on Fensom just get as he didn't get very big minutes

My 2 cents.

I wouldn't bring any gun in in the first 3 weeks unless you're trading out a injured gun. You have plenty of time to make up them points later on in the season if you make enough cash now.

Last year I finished in top 100 after the first 3 rounds I was ranked over 20k.

Trades and money making are more important then points in first few rounds.

Seggy > Peats

LAM > JTurbo

Holding onto Lichaa, not worth a trade got more issues in my team
LAM won't get the minutes, too much quality in the dragons pack
JTurbo switch to lock is a added bonus

Love those moves. Wish I could get turbo but I can only bring in a 2rf for LAM

I've gone Lichaa to Walker and BHenry to Carter.

Thought about Mbye and Jrey but I'll hopefully make cash with the two I bring in. I've got money saved to turn someone into a gun so it shouldn't be too much of a risk if someone goes down.

Solid advice AB.  I was leaning towards trading guns at the start of the week to get the jump on everyone points wise, but I'm moving away from that at the moment.  My plan was always to get a look over the first 3 rounds so I need to stick to that plan I think.

This year has been a bit different though-I don't think there would have been another year where so many of us are ranked that far down?

Cooper isnt a gun though IMO. Where are his points going to come from? In a tight game on Monday night, he only got 50 minutes before Creagh came on and took over.

I just dont see where the extra minutes/points are going to come from

I think we were expecting him to become a gun.  I don't have him, and didn't really give him a serious thought, but blokes bought him in as a potential Gun.

I'm thinking I'll go Grant to J. Trbo. I know Grant is playing good minutes but he's just a plodder with no potential tackle busts/offloads & he seems to take the 3rd hit up after Woods & Sue. I think points wise J. Trbo will beat Grant by 25-30.

Well after my piss poor score of 660 in round one I need a points boost & hopefully J. Trbo will provide that boost so I have to risk the trade.

Only have 15k so can't go directly from NGreen to Carter but need to find another 8k somewhere. Either Ash Taylor for Garvey
or Littlejohn to Holland/P Matautia. Want to give LAM another look.

I didn't catch the Tigers game, Sauaso Sue worth holding?

Not keen to keep him if he's going to hover around 34, plus I think there are some 2rfs due back soonish
