How about Mitchell? Probably a more open game.

This whole season has the been the biggest clusterfuck for fantasy and we are only 1 week in. Big name injuries, multiple good looking cash cows popping up but uncertainty on minutes/role, poor week 1 scores across the board from typically high scoring players, and a new interchange rule that not even the coaches seem to have a good understanding on how to best use
Yep, makes it juicy! The next few weeks are going to be absolutely crucial (and brutal for some). Gives me hope of clawing back a few spots after my Rd1.

^^ I think the biggest gamble people took to start the year was on minutes. New interchange rules coupled with so many trades over the off season meant that was the biggest question mark, not so much what a player could do with those minutes. If you got it right and one of your players is getting the minutes you hoped (or more) I wouldn't doubt their ability just yet. Its when they fall under one or more of the following you start to worry
    a) an injury
    b) they were a complete unknown so you had no ability judgement to go on, looks like you picked the wrong cow
    c)they got less minutes

exactly. players tend to start the season slow, you can just tell that from watching the games that they aren't firing on all cylinders yet. Don't make overreactions when there is nothing telling you to do so except a bad score. Sometimes players have a poor game, look at why and if there wasn't a reduction in minutes, an injury, or a change in their role then there is every chance they bounce back

Panic trade Cartwright out or not. Good points have been made he could be back to 80 next week or Griffin could use him as a super-sub or whatever.
I don't like you Griffin, what were you thinking with Josh Hoffman 5/8?

You have made good points tonight. But I'm selling LAM as that first round showed that even when he's their best forward on the night he won't get the minutes

JTurbo is a boss so would love to have him.
Carter wont get attacking stats every week like he did and will average 30, another gut feeling

*whispers* Dont trust a word i say *whispers*

I like your logic. Listened to the arguments for Ah Mau at the start of the season and reasoned that it was a good selection so will keep the faith there. And the attacking stats for Carter along with his previous scores have had me questioning him all week, plus I can just downgrade Cartwright to him next if he backs it up this week.

    JTurbo it is.

fine with that call. Ah Mau is a big question mark going into this week. His head is on the chopping block with my team if he doesn't put in a good score against the sharkies

Yes that is also a good point on Cartwright.

Would you go Green or Gutherson at centre this week. Not sold on either to be honest

Yeeeep. I expect him to come in with a flying knee as someone is playing the ball, bite down on one of their nipples whilst staring the touch judge down and then have that bemused look on his face when sent off. Dessie to make Sticky proud and pin it on the refs after destroying the coaches box.

Why does everyone keep saying that Carter will average 30-35 when he made more in tackles in a game that had 50 points

I also have this dilemna. I don't like Green from the bench. I have chosen Gutherson in the hopes he can jag a try and make par. Foran and Norman back together should help the points flow to the wingers, tough competition against the cowboys though :/

No major opinion either way as they both carry a fair bit of risk. Having to run with both as my centres this week actually.

Green should get at least base stats when he comes on but his minutes will likely affect whether he has much of a chance of racking up a few "extra" points. Gutherson meanwhile will need those "extra" points but playing out wide there is always the chance he bags a try or 2 and gets a few running metres and line breaks
