Guessing injury or hia happens in the back moylan will go there and trindall to halvesMoanaman wrote:My Spidey Senses are tingling....
Why is Trindall in the Sharks Squad? He's not a back utility, he's not a small forward and he's not an organizing half either. The only person I can see him being there for is Hynes...

Who else still has the Cheese? There's no value bench hookers out there at the moment. I could trade out the likes of Welch, Loiero, Doorey but I don't need to. Might not trade this week.

Probably just picking the best players available and let the rest sort itself out. Trindall being rewarded by being in the 17.
Its easy to cover a centre/edge/middle injury. Nikora can shift to centre, problem solved, etc.
In general, an injury to a hooker, half or fullback is a bit harder to recover from, but with trindall there it does mean he could goto hooker or half no problems (and if fullback was injured, moylan or hynes push to fullback with trindall halves)

I used to run my own Fantasy podcasts with a couple of mates.
Nothing better than bringing on a mate with no clue who was in the Top 100 after 2 rounds stating he was going to bring in Dylan Napa or something like that.
Podcast only ran for a year.

Cam McInnes is the best hooker at the Sharks.....

You reckon? Don't really see how it effects him one way or the other.

Uto and Doorey for Hosking and Ford
Vs
Doorey and I Thompson for Hosking and Big Bostock
Leaning option 1

1st option definitely better than the second

Round 1 is the current sample size we have for games without schuster this year.
Not much to go off I know and won`t always score 3 triers.

How paranoid were you the 11 times last year Trindall played off the bench?
From those 11 games, here is a list of all the times he came on for Nicho Hynes
Thank you for listening to my TED talk
Hynes was subbed once last year, in R25 for Luke Metcalf. Add that to last week and that is 2 regular season games in a row Hynes hasn't played 80 minutes. If Sharks are winning comfortably Hynes may get a rest again in the last 10 minutes, but I wouldn't base trades around it happening

Schuster took a lot of the 5th tackle options close to the line in the game against Parra. Hard to say if that was a deliberate plan or just the way the game turned out.

100% Hynes will be fine, Play on.
Can see why your paranoid though I would be too spending over 1 MILLION DOLLARS for a player.
Probably kills it again though.

Because I work from home full-time, I am often listening to NRL podcasts.
There seem to be more SC poddy's than Fantasy, but it is still useful to listen to all the counter-points of view while forming my own opinions.
I appreciate them all.

Yeah, it used to be a lot of fun putting it together with all the different segments and what not.
The year I did the podcast ended up being my worst ever Fantasy finish.
Was a bit of fun though.
We ended up with a couple hundred subscribers, just got too busy to renew it for another year.
Might bring it back at some point but not for the foreseeable future.
Actually managed to get Ali Brigginshaw on it as well which was cool.

The coach stated in a presser that he wanted to reward Trindall for his efforts while Hynes was recovering with a bench spot.
I think they will defo cottonwool Hynes once they are 20 up with 15mins to go type of action...but Hynes still almost bannered last game and came off early.
Will be interesting to see what happens when Graham returns.
Looks like Hynes will be playing the full 80 this week then

I am on the Hosking train. The FOMO and cash potential is too big to miss
Ford will still be in the low 400k range next week and is an easy swap for Trindall

One of these two people is me, I've had plenty of Mod training....The suit cost me $10 at an opshop the day before... The other guy is Phil Garrett, world land speed record holder and all round good bloke.
