Don't mind it, most the injured titans forwards are long term.  Unless I'm missing someting with Brimson/Foran out and JC returning to bench

Titans have signed Thomas Mikaele former Tigers prop and recently Warrington Wolves and Holbrook called him one of the form forwards over there. I expect he will be on the bench next week or the one after.

Thomas the Titan: Mikaele to return to the Coast in '23

They have also added Kruise Leeming who was the Leeds Rhino HOK and captain. There is talk of the possibility of a bench spot this week.

English hooker added to Titans ranks

With two to drop off the bench I would not be picking Haas or young Fa'asuamaleaui.

I see it similar to the Trindall vs IKatoa decision preseason.

KNik you are getting 3-4 weeks of a player with career 40 average as a starting half. If he scores a try the cash will flow pretty quickly

IKatoa you getting job security but it's gonna be a slow burn

There is certainly value in making money quickly then being moved on to the next cow/fallen gun but it depends on how you are tracking for cash, trades used and risk appetite

Just on this too, is there any guarantee that Nikorima does have a shelf life? The assumption has been that Milford comes straight back in when fit, but it's not like you've got a Hynes coming back who commands guaranteed selection. It's Milford. If Nikorima plays well/the Dolphins start winning again, who's to say he doesn't just keep the spot? Milford probably comes back in, but it's hardly a fait accompli. There's definitely room for Nikorima to earn the spot and stay there imo. Just food for thought for those considering Nikorima.

Its fair enough bagging the Tigers performance but they got that approved by the army. It’d be nice if the shire could bash on someone else for their off field shit.

Yeah I could easily see Nikorima holding his place

I could play Boyd in the halves in the interim and go up to a gun half but need a cheapie.

Or I could punt Teddy & Trindall for a gun (may be SJ) and have $660K for someone else

    Any help would be appreciated

Just having a look at your team. You're not in particularly bad shape. Sloan can come in for Teddy, Tino in for Sloan and Boyd in for Trindall. Boyd and ARey is probably fine until you can do better (I'm running SJ and Boyd). Selling Ted leaves you with no WFB (or centre) cover. I'd hold.

Hooker, mid, edge, centre, wfb (with Ted back) and bench are all pretty good. As you say, it's the halves. ARey is fine. Boyd is fine. I think the boat is pretty well missed on SJ. I'd probably look at Burton or Drown, or go up to Cleary/Hynes. I'd be looking to move on Trindall and HSS. HSS is basically dead and won't score well. At least he's got a bit of value over Talau. Talau at least is due back soon and has dpp and isn't worth trading because is worth no money.

I'd look to sell Trindall to KNik. Clears 138k plus the 160k you have means 300k to spend next week. You can then assess if the Eels guys, Loiero, Boyd etc, or whoever gets injured/suspended are worth keeping and whether to get Cleary, Hynes or a cheaper option. Ideally you'd trade HSS to a cheapie, but finding another one might be tricky, and with three trades available from next week could worry about it then. Hope it helps!

    Boyd
    Haas, Harris, Ford
    Katoa, Loiero
    Cleary, Reynolds
    Alamoti, ITT
    Turbo, Miller, AKP

    Hosking, Preston, Cartwright, Hopgood

    Warbrick, Hands, Stone, Tedesco

$0k in the bank but feeling good about the squad and some cash gen for once.

Yeah I'm looking at similar. I have Hosking already. And I'd have 309k for next week. I could trade Teddy to Cleary, but then I'm running Warbrick with no cover and his bye coming up. Not sure it's worth it.

0-5 in L3 and moping around at rank 15351,think this week I’ll just do Doorey to Niko to free up a bit of cash, means playing Warbrick again with Teddy out which I’m not thrilled about but don’t see anything too urgent here.

    127k bank

    Grant
    Carrigan Hopgood Haas
    Preston Katoa

    Ford

    Hosking
    HSS

    IKatoa
    Boyd

    Teddy

    Any thoughts anyone?

Trying to remember if there was any HIA/Injury related reason for his minutes bump last week but nothing is jumping out at me from the game stats. Could it be he is just over the rib/whatever complaint?

I think Cheese is a trade-in either now or wait a week or two. My other potential trade this week is Doorey to cheese. Not sure if Sutton is a trade out, quite possibly, not a keeper, probably won't make a lot of money, so yeah possibly.

Yeah read it and Tigers didnt really stuff up. Pure beat up

I find all the army jerseys a bit cringe anyway. So if this could start less of them, or at least making them a bit more understated, I’d be ok with that

Pretty sure I am only making the one trade this week.

    HSS > KNik +24K

Feel like I have probably missed the Hosking boat and I have yet to save a trade. My team is going pretty good, so thought why not save a trade this week. Have guys like E.Katoa, Cartwright (pending a Tigers whitewash) and Uto (starting again this week, pending a tigers whitewash) who's BE's are slowly creeping up, I will have a few trade options over the next few weeks.

Hopgood a wait and see for me. Still think he has been way too good to not see at least 50 minutes off the bench.

    Current Team;

    Robson
    Haas Ford Carrigan
    Katoa Loiero
    Cleary Moses
    Lemuelu Alamoti
    Miller Turbo Perham

    Preston Carty Boyd Hopgood
    Uto KNik Thompson Warbrick

    See ya's next week

    Could do:
Kenny to Cheese (3 weeks after I sold)
    OR
Kenny to Brailey (exhaust cash reserved)

Otherwise I do nothing but feel like I’m risking stacking 4-6 problems when you can only deal with 2-3 at a time

Tough one. Whilst Brailey plays the first bye, I'm thinking more and more that Cheese scores similar for much cheaper. And Brailey missing rd14 is tricky too. You could probably do nothing though, I doubt Kenny is going to burn you too much unless he gets injured.

I agree. It might only be 3-4 weeks. But there's upside - it reminds me of 2021 when HB started with BS9 with Grant having a minor injury, putting himself in a position where he might get lucky, and he did. Or when no one got KBrom because he was just filling in for Stimson (lol) where in reality Hoffman had retired and the position was up for grabs. The Dolphins position is up for grabs, and if we get lucky Knik holds the spot.

Not a great round. Slipped over 2000 places, now sitting 2600. Last week I got killed in the halves (iKat + Moses) and players like Carrigan and EKat not hitting their straps. Tohu > Keppie seems like a bit of a mistake, but it's not the end of the world... yet. Current looking like:

    Grant
    Murray Carrigan Ford
    DFifi EKatoa
    Moses Boyd
    Alamoti Lemuelu
    Miller Meaney Hammer
    Hopgood Carty Preston Keppie
    iKat HSS AKP Warbrick

    $287k ITB

Thinking of trading Carty to SJ. To get Cleary I'd have to trade a gun. Looking at alternatives, such as Koloa, but think SJ is the way forward?
