Yeah, not one of his typical LB tries. Run metres cut in half from his usual due to the injury. Few errors and MTs too.

At least it wasn't a -1 though, has a couple of those in injury games. Take the positives..

Part of the story is that offloads to hand are overvalued.

Although with 11 TBs, Walsh could have smashed it under the old scoring

or maybe he played well and was a constant attacking threat.

Missed the whole box and dice today with multiple family events. Manly just get dusted or Penrith ramping up?
Bronx were due a loss, have scratched a few wins by the skin of their teeth without looking entirely convincing. Also Suncorp surface seems to be a hindrance at the moment.

Sometimes an accident that causes an injury is just an accident, we don’t have to go looking for reasons to turn it into a penalty, Taupau has the right to chase a kick, it’s not like he stuck his leg out,  Rapana fell into him

I don't think you can say Rapana fell " into him" when Rapana is the stationary one catching the ball?

Taupau obviously didn't expect him to go to ground and while it's clear it was an accident, the careless factor is Taupau running full pelt through the point the ball is caught instead of pulling up just a little bit and getting set to make a tackle.

While we are coming up with terrible examples.

I mean. Why not just have the attacking player punch him self with the defenders fist.

If you need to invent a hypothetical scenario that will never happen to support your argument it probably isn't a very good argument you're making.

A high tackle is almost always an accident, but its still a penalty.

Should head high tackles not be penalties?

Why are people looking for reasons why a penalty shouldnt be awarded?

Keyword is ‘sometimes’, carelessness leading to an accident is absolutely a penalty, but if you can explain to me what action Taupau took that was careless then we’ll be in business.

532/8C which seems to be surprisingly quite above par on yaffs.

Tapine to Matto is locked in now and I'm not sure I love that I've done that but time will tell

Its already been explained by others why it was careless.

Theres ~15 penalties per game why is this one such hot debate

    5370 overall - 702/12
Currently 3rd overall, 71 points behind the leader.
Not captaining Cleary hurt but atleast Haas did what I expected from him. No complaints here.

Fifita, SJ, Ford, Miller, Brailey still to come.
Outside chance of maybe taking the outright lead (not discounting pods in teams beyond 8th place).

1st place = 5441 points: Ford, SJ, Miller, Carty
    2nd place = 5372 points: Miller, AKP
4th place = 5366 points: CNK, Ford, Miller, Hopgood, Carty
5th place = 5359points: Ford, SJ, Miller, Hopgood, Carty
6th Place = 5342 points: Ford, Hopgood, Miller, Boyd,

Hope everyone’s rounds have taken a turn for the better after tonight.

Cleary showing as 100 on MTBs now, found a point? Suspect

    Might be a hold still

Inefficient, because you want the defender red carded and sat out for the season.

Why does the attacker need to vanish from space and time to avoid the contact? If you’re saying accidents shouldn’t be penalties when they always have been a game is gonna take a week waiting for the judiciary to sort out every single high shot before the ball can be played.

Yeah, Cleary back up to 100, reluctant hold this week but he’s on notice 🤔

I’m 710/11c and 90 above par. Think there might be some low scores at the top this week.
