    Are we convinced that Mcinnes gets more minutes as a starting MID? He should do given his history which would mean his scoring jumps up a significant amount.

    He's not going anywhere in a hurry with his BE but could be a great buy until Finucane gets back right?

    Why do I feel unsure about this?

    Good read, had to laugh that using my 'choosing good players to watch' strategy I have this entire team basically now (minus Tapine who was to come in after the bye haha)
    Funny how that works out

    Jeez I should have got HTF by now, looks to be very useful for the byes. I'm not sure I can bring myself to pay $567k for him now

    I think there's a good chance he goes back to the bench when Finucane returns, so if he is only good value for 3 weeks, and you are willing t skip one of those weeks - is he still good value?

    Some people hope Finucane will go back to prop with Rudolf out - keeping McInnes at lock. That would make him a buy, so make your decision and then hope that the Sharks pick thei rteam lineup accordingly

    I can get Hynes but it disrupts the balance of my squad. My backline is terrible as I traded out Teddy last week. This weeks pending trades:
    Hopgood > Mciness (Finucane is out for 3 weeks and scores well at lock)
    Boyd> Walsh (favourable draw as no bye till round 16, may not make origin)

    Current team:
    Grant
    Tapine, Mciness, Murray
    Hosking, Preston
    Burton, Cleary (C)
    Staggs, Alamoti
    Hammer, Turbo, Walsh

    E Katoa, Ford, Sloan, Talau (loop)
    Katoa, AFP, Hands, Weekes (I know terrible NPR’s)

    I have been way too conservative with certain players and over analysing the options. For example, not bringing Carty and Miller early on. Building my bank to so I can do Katoa to Hynes in round 9.

    My hooker choices have been disgusting this year (Brailey and Mahoney - who are both no longer in the team). Grabbing Robson would sort that out, but geez it seems more fun to get JMK and McInnes this week and ride the ups and downs.

    Firstly. McInnes needs to go find the fountain of youth because I want that McInnes in my team. What kind of minutes are we expecting for him these next few rounds and once Finucane returns? I believe we only need to call upon one person for that answer. Laughing

    I liked the look of this until I got to 16-18. If you were to be unlucky enough, you might get a combined score of 30 or less between Sloan and whomever.

    He's going to stop scoring tries every game at some point and put up some 30s. I am almost certain it will happen this week if I get him haha. It's him or Walsh really, I guess if Walsh doesn't play origin then he's the obvious pick and with the latest news on Ponga that should be the case.

    MattNZ is correct here. This is very consistent with Brad Arthur's thinking in the past. It was me who put the minutes split up last week and everyone was saying I was wrong that Carty would get 80.

    Well feck me silly and call me Nostradamus - the minutes played out quite closely except that Matto got slightly more than expected and Hopgood slightly less. and Makatoa and Grieg were swtiched around.

    I reckon 50-60 minutes for both Hopgood & Matto is a fair prediction when Paulo returns

    Predicted ==> Actual

    Campbell Gillard 60 ==> 57
    Hodgson  50 ==> 52
    Grieg 30 ==> 19
    Cartwright 80 ==> 80
    Lane 80 ==> 80
    Matterson 60 ==> 73

    Hopgood 60 ==> 53
    Hands 30 ==> 28
    Makatoa 20 ==> 30
    Murchie 10 ==> 9

    That's great, but Paulo won't play 30 mins.

    I think I'm going to get Hudson Young despite his impending bye, or Jack Bird or someone else Very Happy

    I don't subscribe to the Finucane to prop argument and I'm not sure 3 weeks is enough to make the cash to justify the trade (unease unearthed)
