I need a playable mid and mcinnes seems like the best option under 613k. Tempted by Thompson i get the feeling he might keep playing 50ish mins, or a wild gamble on pangai..

Mcinnes should be reliable for 45s. Could push 50ish if lucky.

Would have been better if he played rnd 13 but what can you do

    Just looking at doing:-
    Hopgood -> Walsh
    Doorey -,> Mcinnes (probs)

It did cross my mind to miss walsh and gamble on Ponga next week

I think ill sit on the 3rd trade this week as i havent saved any. Couchman is appealing but maybe ill leave that a week. If he ends up getting the starting spot over BMM then its an easy trade anyway

Ponga has a BE of 61. Would need to see him get through a game, lose cash to be low 400s, then have a great game with a low BE to even consider him.

Teddy isn't far behind Ponga for HIA risk. Keeps dropping down just as the tackler arrives, so is very likely to have ongoing problems unless he sorts his technique out.

FFSs Matt now you have my rethinking Ted this week lol! Turbo has a bad back and dodgy legs...

should I get Latrell instead? I am undecided on my 3rd WFB, I have Miller & Walsh ..Sloan & Warbrick.

Just realised I can bring in Teddy for Hopgood instead of McInnes or Bird and pop Warbrick in EMG. Interesting

Haha yeah I also wondered about trading down to Hammer/CNK and grabbing Ted post-origin if he hasn't had his head taken off..

Oh geez didn't realise CNK was only 464k

How would we rank Matto, Tohu, Tapine? I’m thinking maybe in that order.

Reddit (R/NRL) will usually post the article assuming it’s NRL related

If Hammer was to actually stop scoring tries what do people think he’ll average and is he worth a pick up as a keeper

I’ll take a punt and say he’ll average 38-40. It might be out of spite, but I can’t pick him up now. Much prefer Bird/Penis (might make those my new pronouns).

Hammer could be 30-40 I think but I wouldn't go near him at this price. Better to go Bird or waiting for Manu if you're spending on a CTR.

Hey mate not sure if you're playing for overall or h2h but if overall then might be worth considering going for a JMK or Robson over Grant. With the storm bye in round 9 you'll only get 5 games out of Grant before origin where (last year at least) he probably gets managed a fair bit. A fair few people will trade him down after R8 for an origin compatible hooker.

If H2H or just really want Grant, carry on!

late to this but Grant doesn't really miss much over Origin, he may get subbed off slightly early but usually always backs up.

I prefer Cook over him for a bit more consistency but you can't really go wrong with Grant, him and Cook are top 2 hookers by a mile, with Robson a distant 3rd.

Better to get a top gun now and then buy Robson in round 13 itself

You could get McInnes for cheaper.

TPJ was relevant as an 80 minute EDG, not as a MID playing with a chronic back injury.
