You'd think we play for prizes of $5,000 for the top 500 every week the way us clowns treat this shemozzle of a game.

    Chin, chin though !

Most of the Phins did FA the second half. Sucks about Niko but JMK also got like 10 points in the second half

Hopefully Niko turns his scoring around and not be a failed cow

Not at all concerned about Hammer, who you can pick at centre, having a 28 (went very close to scoring as well) when every big name fullback has done the same in the past.

For instance, safe base Kiraz with his 29 last week. Latrell with a 25 a few weeks ago, Turbo 16 last week, Teddy had a 29 at the start of the year.

It happens to the best of them.

Hammer 28 is only a problem if you bought him this week, which I don't imagine many did

Mums been telling me that it’s not what you say it’s how you say it since I was six years old. Matt knows that and I’m a fan anyway but if you’re gonna send it out there it’s gonna come back.

They should have had every team bring one game to different places in NZ, like the Tigers did (Manly and Dogs have done it previously).

Would have meant the Warriors didn't get a season full of home games at Mt Smart for people to moan about, but cuts their travel a bit as a "thanks" and spreads the game more.

Yeah has pretty solid base, just no ball in the 2nd half.

Try selling that to Vlandys without offering a few million in return. I’d have gone

Plenty of pundits talked about this last year but it all went quiet once the draw came out. Good on the Tigers for bringing a game to NZ.

Only way to make comp fair is have everyone playing each other home and away and playing GF at a neutral venue or rotating venue as the NFL does. Obviously, there are too many teams to do that so that can't be done. A way the NRL can attempt to even out travel time differences between teams, is to look at giving long distance travelling teams eg Warriors/Cowboys back to back away games in the same city (Sydney or Brisbane) with a 6 or 7 day turnaround so they can have the option of staying and setting up camp over a two week window. Rather than returning flying relatively long distances home then potentially back on another plane 4 or 5 days later to the next away game.

    Just some ideas.

Not to mention loads of NRL players are from the regions

Need the 20th team in NZ. Surely there is a market and appetite for that there.
