Tana up for there for me as favourite ever. Beaten out by Cullen though for mine personally!

Used to be amazed at watching him play

Was at the top for me too welshy. Maybe he wouldn’t have thrived as well in league but I’d never bet against it

Nonu is always the one I think of as an "imagine if he was in league".

Would have absolutely fucking dominated (assuming he was at a club that could have developed him properly I.e not the Warriors.

If you'd given Bellamy a young Nonu you get arguably the greatest centre ever (which isn't a stretch because he's the best 12 in union ever).

Tana would have shredded as well, people forget young Tana as a winger had plenty of pace too.

The reach and the scouting is incredible.
Cousin got headhunted at a high school to switch schools to play for one of the top teams before he went to a higher level. Crazy stuff.

Nice work! I had Muz, Hammer and Cook, and gained ~170 spots, from 317 to 148

As an non aussie, whats the go with Perth, why isnt that a viable spot for an NRL team?

AFL is massive in WA, it's just the status quo. Tough market to break into especially with management as shortsighted as the NRL - it's a 30-year investment if they go out there. West Coast had 103,000 members and Fremantle 56,000 last season, and there's talk of a 3rd Perth team being added as the 20th AFL club (pending the 19th club in Tasmania being added which is held up by political shenanigans with stadiums). IMO relocating the Bears' identity to Perth would be the most correct move for the NRL, but it's now or never if they want to get a foothold out there.

Back in the day, the chats of "If you could have one player switch from union" and you couldn't have the conversation without talking about Nonu.
Weepu would've been a fantastic hooker in his prime. Also came from a league background. Pretty sure a few teams were chasing him at one point too.

Would take Tana over Nonu I reckon but it's close. Very close and purely because of his addtional intangibles as a captain

Once Nonu had matured, he still didn't have the intangibles of Tana, but he was the most powerful ball runner to come along since Jonah, he'd turned into an elite passer, he even had a great kicking game though he didn't need to use it often because of DC. He was basically the evolution of Tana, more powerful with extra features (though he never would have got there had he not been playing a lot with Tana as he developed and guided by him, and of course Conrad Smith.

Really weird that someone would downvote a personal opinion like this.

I mean Milne would've dropped the ball regardless, nobody forced Bromwich to hit him in the head with his shoulder

Dolphins lucky it wasn't a red imo

I'm assuming someone fat thumbed that downvote you'd think haha

As someone who has fat thumbed a downvote himself.

We have 2000 members in QLD mate and fans up there it was no surprise to me enjoyed watching at home hearing that South Sydney chant.

Got lucky on the Campbell try I thought.

But I thought Stone on Keaon to me was a bit of a hip drop I thought we should’ve got a penalty. Keaon gotta go for scans now and obviously in doubt for next week.

Dolphins had me worried at half time that’s for sure.

And K. Brom on Milne the whole street must’ve heard me I was up yelling and pointing at the TV.

Sele just on 35mins roughly like I said. Jai Arrow was enormous.

And a breakout game for young Moale I’m proud of him.

We're at that stage of the season where 96.2% of the top 1,000 have captained Nathan Cleary.

Good to see you finally got your boy in, I was surprised you didn't just start with Murray.

I brought in Cook this week thanks to Brailey's injury, and now I only have the two best Souths players, none of those lemons like Sele or ITT.

3/137, went up from 317 to 148 overall in tonight's game
