Ironman Tyson Frizell shows Knights officials he's playing for keeps

    main points:

    - "So impressive has been Frizell's start to the season, it's understood he is back on the radar of Blues coach Brad Fittler and in the mix for a possible Origin recall, along with teammate Daniel Saifiti."

    - Temple Kalepo (former Warriors hooker), is on the radar as a potential Jayden Brailey replacement

Martin and Koloamatangi injuries have put him a bit closer to contention

Literally though it’s impossible to get into Freddy’s brain. Might be a case of great real life performance (and fantasy scores) lead to Origin selection

Would unfortunately be a sell due to bye schedule if selected

Brought Hynes in and captained him last round. Brought in Crossland too. Yeo the week before that.
26 trades left. Those extra trades we get after Origin - are they part of this 26? Or are they on top?

Going to go hard this round - instead of going Teddy, I'm considering Manu. Dual position, has somewhat bottomed out also, will hopefully play FB for 2-3 weeks around Origin.
    And JDB.

If I was to bring both of them in - it likely means trading out a MID gun & a Keppie. Would significantly strengthen my team around Origin without having too much of an impact week to week till then (Hynes/Cleary would be my captain).

Going to be good fun watching Captain Hynes against an understrength Dogs team this weekend!

The 8 extra trades we get in R20 are in ADDITION to what you have now, so you actually have 34 trades left.

    Nice one mate cheer

The extra 8 trades are on top of the 26 you have left.

    • Total trades adjusted to 44 (up 8 ) with a maximum of 36 available thru[sic] to end R19 and another 8 available from R20

First thing I noticed but doesn’t that just negate Tolo being out?

You'd have to think given their current injury situation their best pack is something along the lines of:

    8. McLean
    9. Robson
    10. Hess
    11. Nanai
    12. Gosiewski (Luki once fit)
    13. Cotter

I guess it's probably a toss up between Hess going back to the edge and Granville playing middle with Gosiewski pushing out?

I just can't get my head around any scenario where starting Granville at prop is the right play.

Was very surprised at this one but reading the article "at some stage during the season" is important to note.
Strong little runner and good player but doubt he's knocking on the door of Crossland/Mann/Gamble just yet.

Yeah it's not likely to happen anytime soon, he had major hamstring surgery plus recovery time last season
Is only just building up match fitness in the NSW Cup

Yeah the Friz is a major origin bye round target for most of us fantasy coaches, I thought I'd better post the article to keep everyone in the loop

Assume Davy Moale's minutes were only up because of the Koloamatangi injury?

I wish Alomoti would get DPP with all this time he’s spent on the wing. Would at least make him very useful in the 18-21 as cover

Too expensive for me to keep around as cover. I am a screw depth kinda guy though I've realised. Pouring as much into my 17 as possible.

At this point I'm playing him in my 17 until I get Teddy in, and not selling until round 13 unless another centre cheapie emerges.

Liam Martin re injured his hamstring according to Fox Sports - makes those who took the Hosking punt worthwhile.

Like South Sydney, Penrith is dealing with injuries up front, albeit not in the same magnitude. Liam Martin looks set for another stint on the sidelines after re-aggravating his hamstring injury against Newcastle. “I feel sorry for Marto because…it’s probably better if you know what it is that you’ve got. We’ll sort it out,” Cleary said on Monday. “I don’t really know. Sometimes when it’s like that, it can be maybe a neural thing or something that’s come from his back, so we’re looking into that at the moment. I think I used the word ‘mystery’, but that’s probably unfair because people know more than I do. We’ll work it out.”

    here is an interesting one.

its a way of getting Hynes without getting an extra dud in my 17 (unless you count Cheese as a dud)

TU: Carrigan Carty to Cheese Hynes
    TD: Carty to D.Fifi

Head-to-Head player and don't need a half or an edge so its just best overall for my team.

Capewell, Nanai, Kaufusi all above him I would say. Needs to at least bump one of those guys out before he gets a look in as a bench edge. May need to bump two out as QLD could run 3 middles on the bench.

Could be a Cotter, Tino, Carrigan middle with a Papali, Collins, Arrow/Gilbert bench. Hard to find d room for Fifita there.

Talking about SOO edges. All those with Matterson are a bit worried now. If he gets picked his avaiability with Origin and byes is terrible. Likely no Martin or Kolo now, as well as Crichton unlikely.

Who would be the starting edges for NSW?

Crichton should be back this week. That leaves 5 weeks of NRL before sides are selected. Tbh that is plenty of time for match fitness and form.

Understand if hes not picked but selections are still a long way away, a lot can change by then

    Carty to Tohu
    Uto to TPJ
    Perham to JDB

Play Warbrick this week and flick him to Russell the week after.
