Talking about SOO edges. All those with Matterson are a bit worried now. If he gets picked his avaiability with Origin and byes is terrible. Likely no Martin or Kolo now, as well as Crichton unlikely.

Who would be the starting edges for NSW?

Murray is guaranteed one EDG, if fit Martin is the other but Olakau’atu, Frizell, Matterson, Crichton are the main options (would have thought Koloamatangi would have been picked if fit)

So are we assuming JDB gets huge mins every week going forward?

Last time he played 80 mins before last weekend was round 16 of 2021 vs the Warriors.

Even if JDB played 65-70 minutes I'd be very very tempted to pull the trigger but I'm just not sure with Hook's rotations, he could end up playing 50-60 mins then it becomes a wasted trade...

    Someone enlighten me

    Pending TLT, most likely going

    Carrigan and Carty out

    JDB and Fifita in

    47k to play with

Could be Murray I guess. I'd rather him starting there with Yeo LK rather than as a bench mid.

Your analysis is 100% right, but I feel the more JDB stays on the field, the better for the Dragons. BMM was pretty trash so hopefully he just stays in Cup now. Couch was never going to be used for big minutes - at least not with Bird and Su'a fully fit. Kerr is an "impact" player, and the Molo's aren't going to play big mins. Which leaves at least 60+ for JDB now.

    But, I forgot one thing.

    It's Hook.

I’m sure they will make sure the infringement count is even to keep everyone happy (plus it’s just science isn’t it???)

    My early trade-in thoughts are;

    Crossland
    Host
    Savage

waiting on TLT and checking out other options

    thoughts on those 3?

I have to get rid of HSS/Trindall etc.

you'd have to imagine haumole and shaun lane are in the mix for origin too, hudson young not a million miles away but not happening

murray is do devastating through the middle i'd love to see him picked on the bench instead of on an edge or over an RCG or paulo type, but that's just me

Host scares me. I’ve bought in Niko and Sele recently who were supposed to in a perfect world average around that 36-40 mark and neither have got close.

Can’t really afford another 25-30 player clogging up the EMG spots.

But decent minutes in RD13 will probably push me to get him unfortunately

Can't see Savage getting many minutes this week. Or any minutes for that matter Very Happy

Looking at some top teams, most have strong mids instead of running 3 halfbacks

Yes it's basically essential to own at least two of Murray/Haas/Yeo at MID, and ideally all three or a close alternative in 3rd spot (Matto, Tapine, Tohu etc.), though a lot (me included) would be running Ford as 3rd MID.

I have Cleary and SJ as my two halves, and Haas, Murray and Ford as my three MIDs, though I did make a conscious decision to buy Fifita last week instead of a 3rd MID because I'm greedy.

I’m flying up the rankings with just Haas Cheese Ford at MID, wouldn’t call it essential
