Obviously you can't buy him this week, but with a BE around 60, when does he become cheap enough to be tempting? Or is he just on the never again list at this point.

Started with him and will consider him next week

If he is medically cleared to play I still think he has the best ceiling at his price, while the move to 6 improves the floor

Caught wearing a panthers jersey on social media last year, caught celebrating a panthers try this year (although I can't seem to find evidence so maybe I made this up?) I'm surprised he has been named at all this week. Clearly a bloke that doesn't want to be there

Celebrating broncos try this year against the Tigers

I would suggest this is foolhardy

Surely getting in someone no one has ever heard of on debut isn’t a winning strategy

He must have started the year as what on the depth chart?

Behind Laurie, Staines, douehi, as FB

If you somehow pull this off I’ll be impressed

He was being talked up at the start of the year by Sheens in a big way

The tigers season is already over (sorry to anyone who supports the Tigers) Sheens was considering him from the outset. I reckon they will stick with him as a plan for the future (either at FB or on the WING). It is indeed a risk but it is calculated. I really love the cash generation I am getting out of my mostly sub gun forward pack AND I want Manu. This is could be a wonderful path to having both

Respect, we have enough trades to move to the next 230k player in a few weeks of he fails

With 71k in the bank, I can move to the next 301k player when I feel like it - but I have got a good feeling about this - it is the vibe

It’s a 4 forward bench mate. Tatola back in 1/2 weeks as well.

I expect Arrow in the second half to spend some time on an edge too and Jed can also play edge.

I think Host will get around 65mins personally maybe 70 some games but I don’t think he plays 80.

For my team I can just go Carty to Manu and hold my 4 Storm blokes this week and look at Loiero to Cheese next week and Katoa to Hudson Young or get Hopgood back in.

Or I can just go Katoa to JDB… what do you reckon?

Seems to be dire in terms of cash cows and Host seems the most likely to make 100k or more steadily. If Loiero can, surely he can

JDB is an uncertainty in minutes, look at his starts at lock last year. Early 17 or 18’ days are pre stand down and different coach… not a fair comparison imo

I agree here, I would like to see at least 1 game before bringing in a back from a struggling team, Tigers have a few WFB options and Talau could still cause a backline re-shuffle before kickoff too.

Sheens may will pull a swifty on Sunday but I can't imagine it would be not to start Bula at FB. Why as a coach would you put you next good thing out there in the media as getting his debut and not follow through. Nothing swift about that at all.

The whole forum has gone all MattNZ... everyone gets on a random bench forward with dubious longetivity in his role .. but ignores the next base price cash cow with vast potential

Bloke coughed and spluttered for the whole 50 minute trip home.  GF was sitting in the back and no-one else from the night was sick before or after so I'm blaming him, even though I would like to clarify there was NO physical contact between us (admittedly there was a strong emotional connection though... Very Happy )

Wests Tigers forum is suggesting that the reason that Bula did not get a start earlier in the season was that he was out injured https://weststigersforum.com/threads/jahream-bula.34784/page-2

How does a Tigers FB with no job security have vast potential

There’s no risk in waiting a week to actually see if he’s good (or to see if he even starts this week) because I would say there’s 0 chance the bench runs out like that

    Hehe...

You are taking fantasy advise of a bloke on a fan forum - who does not play golf - only has a small pool- and most likely has not seen the kid play apart from a brief highlight video

    I prefer my vibe cheer

And the assessment of Tim Sheens who actually selects the players

That part right there might be the problem.

Seems like a coach trying to find a magic bullet from somewhere
