Yeah disclaimer I haven’t looked at anything like prices or BEs this week but from what I know from earlier weeks it feels like you could wait a week or two on Manu price rises to see (a) if the spot is his, (b) how we scores.

I think some people are going to be so focussed on R13/16/19 they play short some of those following weeks and/or burn more trades than planned
Yup exactly. People are going to load up too much on Eels, Knights and Manly players in round 13 and then get burned the week after when they have their bye and their Origin players don't all back up.

Im happy to pick him up for a couple of cgood scores now and deal with a few 20s before he moves back to fullback over origin.

Also on nrl 360 heavy talk of dropped rather than rest confirmed by Victor Radley obviously the kid comes back in but if the manu experiment goes good this week it may be a while before he does come back in especially given the roosters are making moves to secure some wins now example bringing in toups and Angus 2nd week back from lay offs.

Hey fun objective fact I just learnt, the trash Dragons who have been trash for seasons still managed to beat the Roosters on ANZAC day last year, even with lots of referee and Roosters cheating lest we forget

Only one guaranteed game at fullback for Manu - round 16. I think Teddy probably gets one rest, so Manu probably gets two but certainly not to be counted on depending on where the Roosters sit in the standings.

I just get the feel that with a guy like Manu you want to maximize the time he`s in your team when playing in 5/8 or Fullback.
I believe eventually Walker will come back, my guess is around origin time but who knows.
I will be bringing him in this week to have those hopefully 60+ scores adding to my team, his BE doesn`t really worry me.
Worst case is Sam Walker is back next week but I highly doubt that happens, why put a hit on a young halfs confidence for 1 week of reserve grade, that`s a Griffin move not a Robinson move.
This is all purely my thoughts and not statistically based whatsoever.
Just how I look at it and how my team sit`s Manu scoring big takes me to the next level.

What’s this about Radley. I regrettably have to play him and his negative sin bin points in a few different draft formats. Would love a reason to piss him off

Worse case scenario, Manu goes back to CTR in eek or two and gets 35-40ish every week here on out, not the worse player to put in your team
Will defo be brining him in this week

I’ve pulled together a crude spreadsheet of what my team looks like in 13,14,16,17,19 & 20 for this reason, handy to make sure I’ve got the full picture of the kind of players that bringing in will help over the period as a whole and stops me overreaching in any particular direction.

Radley confirmed Sam was dropped not rested and just said the teams getting around him and he's a quality player will be back in first grade at some point.

50/50 I get him for reasons you say, I loved it last year over Origin and beyond, just don’t think people should break their teams over it. And id prob still get Teddy first if you don’t have himThe Goat Boys wrote:

Manu (from 4 games) averaging 69 at #6
Even if you make his 103 score into 33 (His lowest score) - He still averaged higher than 50

Yeah going Carty straight to one of them, Teddy might be a better pick up than Manu.

Don't forget some of the Fox Sports guys theorising based on nothing too!
But yeah, I don't really trust it in the slightest. I'd sooner miss an 80 this week, see Manu kill it and have a bit of confidence in his JS, than trade him in this week and he's back to centre in 2 weeks. I know that' not the worst outcome, but I'm not in the business of paying 600k for a pure centre when I don't own Bird yet.

No victor Radley the player was a guest on nrl 360 and broke down his inside knowledge of the Sam walker incident right down to time and reason he was told he was DROPPED not RESTED just put this comment in the thread as there were some comments of its fantasy players saying he could be out a while.

He’s had a few lean rounds this year but Manu has always been a keeper CTR even playing centre, I’m bringing him in because I was always looking at him for at least EMG WFB/CTR cover in my final team anyway and I don’t expect he’ll be scoring many if any 20s in any position, especially once the Roosters machine finally kicks into gear.

All this Manu talk takes me back to a couple years ago when any Pool you went to everyone doing Manu`s was the big craze. Those were the days. Also how I almost broke my back.
