Is trading out Hosking in order to keep Haas reasonable?

Reckon Loiero has a decent chunk, maybe 100k more, to make?
Yeah, I really don't want to sell him. More money to make. 100k a bit ambitious I think. Probably closer to 50-60k? But he's playable in the mean time.

Wondering this as well. There's definitely a timeline where he is a keeper though, currently averaging 60, huge work rate, running off Cleary. If you don't think he goes back to 80 minutes he would be a strong sell though.

Helps to check his price. Didn’t realize he was almost 600k, wow
Yeah might be able to eek a bit more out, but if he’s your only trade option then punt him. He’ll be gone by R13 regardless

Same here, though I'm selling him because Teddy is too good to pass up

Thinking of going EKat > Manu and Grant > Bird. Ballsy. Frees up 223k
Robson
Muz JDB Ford
DFifi Preston
Cleary Moses
Null Alamoti
Manu Miller Hammer
Boyd Bird iKat CNK
Host Keppie AKP HSS
Traded in Host last week... straight swap for MCK? Or just hold the kent? Same goes for Keppie... Both could be useful come bye rounds so I'm a bit torn what to do. As for CNK, traded him in last week and again re: byes worth holding?
Bit cooked but hey, it's been one of those years!
With Cleary, anyone think he's a late withdrawal or plays shorter mins? He's carrying the slight groin injury and Cogger is in the wings. Named but does he play? Got a feeling it's a no.

Like other, the Katoa lost cash means I can't flick him to JDB in 1 trade.
Looking at Horsburgh or Tatola as alternatives but feel both are a step below JDB

Something completely useless for a Wednesday night. An attempt at creating a team of players with jobs for names. (Mainly after seeing the roosters roll out a smith, 2 butchers and a baker a few rounds back)
Just missing a couple of wfbs. Could probably run some forwards in the backline.
Cook
Smith, Knight, Baker, (Smith) (King x2)
Butcher, Butcher, (RF Mariner)
Cooper Johns, Weaver, (Smith)
Smith, Smith Shields
Miller
Fletcher Baker to captain since his name qualifies twice.

Right, after much (10-15 mins) consideration I'm leaning Ponga
Dumb for overall, but that price! Hasn't been a better value WFB since, err, Turbo. Umm I'm sure it works out better this time. Also means I don't have to automatically play Bula.
So yeah
Turbo to Ponga
Warbrick to Bula
Katoa/CNK to Manu
Huge warchest
Ability to run a bunch of zany loops to get the best couple of scores from my worst players.
What can go wrong?

That's the big if, any Raiders fans on here have any insight on the Horse and his minutes?

Is Hosking to Matterson even an upgrade or just shuffling keepers?

They seem to think Tohu won’t be too bad
Just catching up with all the posts now, I think Tohu will be out for a few weeks at least, Warriors have 3 games then the bye, he only mised two weeks last time, if it's basically the same thing they'd be silly to play him before the week of the bye unless it was near 100%

I’m inclined to give Hosk one more week against Tigers to see his minutes and a bounce back
Otherwise don’t mind trading him out as doesn’t play first bye, made his cash if not a keeper

too many roosters in the henhouse, they were practically tripping over each other.
It's no longer Millertime for me, easy swap to Ted.

I bought him in this week past when he was named to start. Feels naughty, but like, the good kind of naughty. The hope is he can make his 150k and then be a 35 point hooker round 13.
No gun hooker? Will run Granville potentially getting -30 mins?
