Man if I trade Alamoti instead of Thompson, the 50k difference is crucial in getting better players but it seems silly to hold given he actually hasn’t been that great and the cover/R13 score is probably overstated

Hot take - hold E Katoa if you have 17 greens this week.

I feel for bye planning with EDGs, Hosking and Katoa have the same schedule* after R9, and you probably sell one between now and R13 and hold the other (potentially to the end).

My cash gen ain't great so makes sense to sell Hosking at 650-750, rather than Katoa at 592 or worse.

Excluding the HIA yesterday, Katoa averages 49 without a try.

*Preston is also in this mix, but plays R19 and misses R17 instead.

Ponga misses at least 3 of the next 6 games and 4 of the next 8.

Yeah that's a fine point, though Katoa will miss round 10 as well (within 11 days) so he misses 9, 10 and 13 while Hosking only misses 13.

If Katoa's your only red dot this week (i.e. you don't own Haas or Grant and are selling all your other Storm players) then holding him is fine but most teams have too many other problems to hold him.

For what it's worth I sold Katoa to Manu last round so I don't really care either way.

Any issue with going Ford to Manu? Maybe a little more cash to milk from Ford, but Manu is too scary not to own.

Is the two games missed confirmed for Katoa?

    That was my big mistake

For some reason, I thought it was only Warriors players missing 9 and 10 for HIA, not Storm as well.

Yes it is, he was a category 1 and the Storm game in magic round is 11 days away, so he misses it.

Ford had a crazy amount of demerits last game but has a solid role

He wouldn’t be my first option to trade out

How bad did Tohu's injury look? Is he worth holding onto. I did not see the game

What a fucking cockblock of a team list Wednesday.

Oh you want a new Penrith centre, here's Peachey.

Oh you want a cheap Dogs half, have Reynolds.

Weekes could be a good shout, nah Turbo is good.

At least Talau might start again, nah fam.

Thinking Savage as a cheap option, think again.

If Tohu long term I'm super keen on Curran though.

These trades make me angry, but I think they are needed.

Carty to cheese (brining cheese back)

    Warbrick to Manu

Turbo to bula (basically broke my team to get turbo in)

It looked bad, looks like the same mcl injury so can’t see them rushing him back fast this time

He looked pretty gutted and all I've heard so far is "he'll be out a bit".

You'd have to think they take plenty of precaution with him.

Does anyone reckon Ponga will still play Origin? Maybe there are others that will take his place?

Scratch that - cheap but misses a lot of games soon
    Anyone keen on Burton?

With no more Flanagan and makeshift or Rookie HLFs around him surely he will start going big again?
