Hold, should eek out more cash and be traded out R13? Very playable in the 17 too

Only reason to trade is if he's your only avenue to someone like Manu

Why did Hosking only get 60 mins last week? I can't see any reason his minutes would change from previous weeks?

Tackled up an absolute storm and looked out on his feet (leading to a few late handling errors). Wouldn't panic just yet but maybe monitor this week.

If the Lord Host eeks out a 40 I’ll probably reverse my trade out of him

Hi all - long time reader.
Very unsure this week, had an absolute shocker last round (rank 2k to 7k) and now have to max trade my way out.
Tohu I think will come back as early as possible on reduced minutes, so is a sell.
Carty I can get rid of next week, Ekat is a keeper in my eyes I want to hold (50 av no tries)

    Thinking the below:
Tohu - Cheese (HOK cover for Grant)
    Turbo - Manu
    CNK - $558k? Curran / Sipley / MCK (yuck)?

Really needs to be a MID so i can avoid playing Couchman.

    Team would be

    Cheese
    ?? Matterson Ford
    Hosking Preston
    Cleary Hynes
    Alomoti HTF
    Miller Manu Walsh

    IKat, Carty, Crossland, Knik
    Grant, EKat, Warbrick, Couchman

Cleary playing but probably not kicking goals. Difita to run amuck against Manly's weak edge.

    3 WFB trades lol

    Turbo to Drinky
R13 plus Drinky probably swings from 50k cheaper than Turbo to 50k more expensive by then

    Warbrick to Bula
Will be NPR unless he goes massive, then can probably do something to get his score. Might switch to Oloapu if he starts at 24 hrs

    CNK/Katoa to Manu
AKA the trade I should've made last round with the benefit of hindsight.
Original plan was to hold both, but CNK needs to go since missing 9/10/12. Would do Katoa if something concrete about being out for more than just 9. He also doesn't play 13 but prefer him for rest of bye schedule and looks closer to keeper level.

After this will have 19 dots, playing 3 of Granville, iKatoa, Niko, Alamoti and Bula. Not ideal but could be worse.

Misses 2 games in the next ten? Yep, that's what depth is for.

Given lots of people had 3+ Storm players, and given injuries/suspensions to a bunch of other common Fantasy players, he seemed like a much better option to cash out than Loiero

Short term Katoa is losing cash but Loiero is making cash. So if you want to cash in some profits to buy discounted guns he seemed like a pretty easy bet

I think it's situational, the situation you describe above he's a sell

The one where you don't have lots of Storm (no Loiero) and/or can get out a decent 17 this week, I think you can hold. For bye planning/trade minimisation, most teams are going to want 2/3 of Katoa/Preston/Hosking for R16, and move the other early for a R13 player. For me it makes more sense to move Preston or Hosking at 650-750 price range closer to R13, than Katoa at 592 now, especially if worried about cash to make your moves.

I have got some decent trades lined up to help fix up my team

    Harris ==> Lane
Ese'ese ==> Brandon Smith (need HOK cover and my gamble on Bromwich taking Lemuelu's minutes instead clearly did not pay off- I accept your gentle ribbing if you deem it appropriate  Laughing - but the week he got 49 and helped me win my H2H was kind of nice)

I reckon Carty is done - high BE and even with RCG out will only likely get 55-60 minutes which is not enough to maintain his value. But I reckon Carty ==> Curran could be super sideways - especially if Harris is back soon. Harris needs to go but should I hold trade on Carty - maybe he can score enough in 55 - 60 minutes?

PS I am going to keep EKatoa for the moment. I think he still has money to make and will be good over the bye period

    Horsburgh

    Edit
Sorry my bad, read it as $585k, MCK and Curran aren’t mids. That’s a tough price to suggest anyone decent.
JWallace perhaps? Low BE and plays 13

Is anyone bringing in Sipley? I'm going Host -> Sipley hopefully he can keep his scoring up and make some money. I checked his stats from previous seasons too and when playing the minutes he currently is he scores very well.

Thanks - that was my initial play too, but I am 25k short of CNK - Horse.
Would need to trade EKat or Carty to get him in. EKat > Horse feels very sideways. If I trade carty I need to play Couchman and dont have any green dots outside the 17.
