    If he makes Origin he misses
    13 - bye
    14 - probably out with 2 day turnaround from Origin
    16 - Origin
    17 - bye
    19 - Origin
    20 - probably out with 2 day turnaround from Origin

    Simpkin is heavily on my radar below 300k for this reason post R13

    If both get reduced minutes over origin does Haas outscore Grant?

    For me this stood out pretty starkly on Tuesday....Dragons look much better/faster with Liddle at Dummy half. Maybe he can't play bigger minutes??

    His team isn’t very good ‘Hynes Bean Flickers’ so take that with a pinch of salt

    Don't tell me that... I only just finalized my team

    Harris ==> Lane
    Cartwright ==> Smith
    EKatoa ==> Frizell

    Leaves me with

    BSmith
    Hopgood Pangai Junior Utoikamanu
    Frizell Lane
    Cleary Boyd
    Bird Manu (C)
    Tabuai-Fidow Mitchell Walsh

    Preston Ford Crossland Suaalii
    Nikorima Bula Ese'ese Dunster

    not sure who out of 17 18 or 19 to pick

    As someone who picked up Frizell at 631k I think you’ve missed the boat now, given the 2 byes are even closer

    Liddle has already played 7 consecutive games for the Dragons. That is the 2nd longest streak of his career

    Haas probs out scores Grant in lesser mins Haas can get a 55 in 45mins.

    Haas probs a more reliable VC option than Grant too.

    Apart from Hynes and Cheese not helping much for Rd 13, I'm really not seeing much reason why I shouldn't pull the trigger.

    With the Cleary rumours and your current position on the ladder, bringing Hynes in might be the best move.
    You do have Fifita who could carry the captaincy this round... or Manu?

    It was probably more that Mbye was not the answer for the minutes Liddle didn't play (It seems negligent to not have a back up HKR who actually plays in that position...but maybe they do?)

    I'm reluctant to put the boot into Mbye because he's a solid fill in for a number of other positions but I'm not overly convinced he's a 1st grade dummy half

    Granville is juicy, I don't think I can control myself if, as expected, 1hr out from kickoff tonight he is starting at lock.

    Same… if he starts it’s going to be a long hour with an itchy trade finger

    I'm tipping NAS to be in top 3 averaging props this year. wish his bye schedule was kinder. by the time the first round of origin is finished and he becomes a viable option his price will be crazy.

    That's the main reason for even considering it. Forecast for Sat/Sunday looks pretty bleak in Sydney, so want to get some of that fair weather running footy from Hynes on a Thursday night.
    It's not like a Thursday night captain has ever backfired on anyone before.

    If you think he’s going to score that well there’s an argument to be made for getting him in. The smaller post origin bye rds are still going to be tricky to navigate and he plays them.
