This is what my round 13 look like for now, still deciding between hopgood back or lane
Might grab a cheap wfb for niko if something looks good or rool the dice on a Gutho over the byes but would prefer to keep a solid 10 for now
Robson
Tapine DeBelin Horsburgh
Ford Hopgood
Johnson Moses
Lemuelu Bird

Eels would collapse if Paulo, Hopgood and Matterson play Origin, with RCG injured. Who plays all the MID minutes?
The Cartwright twins.

When is the last time that a QLD or NSW coach, when asked about a form player has said, "nah, we don't think he is ready yet".

When is that from? Week 2 when everybody loved him, or a few weeks later after he was benched?
I think the more important takeaway is that Slater has eyes on him and has had for a while.
In saying that, I agree it doesn’t mean much as far as selection.

Gets 45, maybe max 50 minutes, where do the rest come from?

No idea. The Eels pack is tough to gauge even without origin.

Is anyone stacking their team for R13 worried that they'll struggle to field a 17 for R14 after Origin with 3 R13 teams on a bye and so many players unlikely to back up?
Or will you just use 4 trades to cover for that in R14?

Don't think Billy or Freddy would really give a fuck. Not their problem.

Does anyone have any Manly players? It's really only the Eels and Miller who miss R17. Friz as well, I suppose. But not many will have more than three or four from the R14 teams. Where it could get difficult is with Origin rests.

Thats it, and I guess for less headaches I have tried to hopefully go into the byes not carrying too many origin players through this
Knowing my luck there will be a heap of callups so not going to count my chickens yet

Tallis (Grain of salt) on the radio over the weekend said Billy nearly picked him from NSW cup in game three last year but ultimately picked Gilbert
It’s the only reason I’m so confident he’s in this year

Wait so you're telling me that the QLD coach would pump the tyres up of Hopgood who is 1000% in the frame for origin? Really bro?

Raymond Faitala Mariner?
Thinking 50-60mins 40pts with some attacking upside perhaps gut feel?
I reckon he is capable of much more in a still injury riddled pack but don't want to set expectations too high
HIA threw the rotation off last week but think he gets some decent time out there again this week
417k so cheap though looks to be back running well again after the HIA killing his price earlier
Injuries are his biggest problem but thats why he is cheap so nothing is without risk
Missing anything major?

Very interesting. How does qld line up?
8 Papa (Swan song) / Tino
9 Hunny
10 Welch
11 Kaufusi
12 Capewell
13 Carrigan
14 Grant
15 Tino/Collins (Papa starts or doesn't play imo)
16 Fifita (feel he is locked in, best season yet)
17 Gilbert/Hopgood/Cotter (maybe in that order)
