Miller has a high BE and im I think he does better without Ponga in the team.

I disagree, he is a keeper until proven otherwise and even when his team is getting thumped, he can junk his way to a good score just from busting tackles.

I wasn't really, until just today when I was playing around with Miller to Bird and Alamoti to Bula.

Owning Manu and Null already I can play Manu in WFB. Next week can move Manu back to CTR to cover for Null and Sloan or Bula into WFB. Kind of like it.

Miller does have the game for fantasy though... had a couple down games but I think he'll still score well moving forward despite ups and downs. At $636k though that's gun WFB level pricing and if you don't think he's going to be a potential keeper taking that cash and using it elsewhere has merit.

I dumped him last week. At the start of the year when we got guys like miller we weren’t expecting keepers. Guys like him doing so well and more proven guys losing a bunch of cash just makes the decision to trade easier

Thanks for the comments RE: Miller. I agree he could be a keeper, but he can be easily covered now with Manu and Bula.
The other thing influencing me to trade is it would mean I wouldnt have to loop kniko or Alamoti for my 17th man. Horsburgh would be 17th man instead. I unfortunately dont have Niko so I think I need a strong 17. I dont trust kniko this week with Milford lurking

For the miller owners a hypothetical.
If bula was to score a try and say score 50 this week,  who would you play next week?
    Obviously Miller right?

id be so happy that Bula scored that I’d be playing with my pecker. I do like your point though

Would be more wary of the impact Te Whare has on Null this week. Can see Null moving to Centre to give Milf a run at lock as dont see Te Whare playing 80.

I need Bula this week but I don't think I can give him a 11-13 spot just yet. Miller scored 40 last week in a drubbing. I have no urgency to flick him.

I could be wrong but I don't see a guy relishing and making the second row position his own after a break out game last week getting moved out wider to fit Milford on the park. I'm no coach but that doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

Easily Miller, he's averaging 49 through 9 games.

For me it's more the prospect of swapping Miller for Bird for only $60k, rather than playing Bula in my WFB instead of Miller.

It's actually not because of Milford but because of the fitness of Te Whare. Null is the only one who can shift to centre effectively. I could be wrong but it makes the most sense (either Knik or Milf to a stint at lock, Null to centre and Kbrom/Gilb 2RF).

Oh yeah, I'm not saying you're wrong and I get who would not where but I would think any sort of shifting would happen unless absolutely necessary and Whare becomes a defensive liability.

I've absolutely thought about it. Agree, scores worse with Ponga. 37 with vs 50 without. Problem is, I don't know who I'd bring in who is better. And he plays the bye. If I trade him, basically I'd want a bye playing guy who scores similar and banks 200k. Any suggestions?

For sure. See how it plays out. I hope Te Whare kills it on debut but I'm a bit concerned he's going to get found out bigly, either through turnstile defence or gassing early (hence the shift).

No. I think Milf on the bench threw around a few potential positional switches to get him on the field.

Mainly Te Whare being a huge liability at the moment in QCup and struggling to get through 80. The plan was to play him in NRL this year but he came back overweight and unfit. It's been a slow process to get him going again. He's only debuting due to injuries.

If he's not fit enough to play 80 minutes as an outside back, I doubt they'd be starting him in the NRL.

I forgot to add, it gets even harder, I need him next week so I can push Manu back to centre for Null, I'll be running Bula for two weeks as it is. If I'm trading Miller I'd need a WFB that's absolutely screaming to be traded in. Not sure there is one.
