I found Nope so disappointing. Get Out is in my Top 10 of all time and Us was decent.
Was sooo looking forward to it and made a night of it with Dinner and Pub and Gold Class, but then wanted to leave halfway through. I've tried twice since and it was slightly less bad, but just didn't do it for me.
Get Out is incredible in my book. Gets better every time you watch it.
Get Out was top tier. I've watched it a few times and keeps getting better.
Nope took a second watch for me for sure. Us - wasn't as much of a fan.

Haha actually been looking for a good place to buy jerseys. There's one down the Gold Coast but it's a bit out of my way.
They looked to be setting up a shitload of merch stalls around the stadium yesterday...but you are probably paying top $ for anything you buy from those

I won’t lie, your projections make me want to trade both in this week but should probably be cautious.Jumping Marlin wrote:

Billy Slater comments on QLD hopefuls

Won’t be able to listen until tonight but apparently Cotter wasn’t mentioned which is a gigantic kick in the dick as my reasoning for getting him last week worked

Love how the Shire are trying to spin Ben Ikin's potential move to become CEO of the QRL as "Ikin forced out of the Broncos by tensions with Kevvie'
I suppose "Bloke interviews for job which looks like a promotion from his present position' doesn't have the same ring

Have landed on trying to stay a step ahead with value, big minute MIDs that can score well, looking for them to be season keepers. Seems to be the one position where you can get consistent scoring that you can rely on, outside of HLF.
HOK - are all really inconsistent, the top ones all play origin and even they aren't scoring consistently well
EDG - only Fifita has been scoring well every week
CTR - Need to get a MID like Bird or HLF like Manu for consistent good scoring
WFB - Mitchell probably the only guy putting up great scores consistently. Edwards up there too, but still has games scoring in the 30s
In MIDs we have many players getting big minutes, and can score well consistently in the $600k to low $700k range that don't play Origin - Already have Hopgood, NAS, JDB, Horse - looking to add Mofo and Bird (at CTR obviously, but is a big minute MID) this week, to complete the set. Will also look at Matterson when he bottoms out, for round 13, if he isn't selected for Origin.
Mofo looks set to get 60+ minutes each week and averages 60 with those minutes. Has just 1 score < 50 when getting 60+ minutes, which is pretty amazing across such a large number of games.
So trades this week are Bula, Mofo and Bird.

Just gave it a listen and can confirm that Cotter wasn't mentioned...however he did list about 12 mids off the top of his head so it looked like an oversight rather than a deliberate shun.
It was in the context that people who played last year might not necessarily get a run this year and how the definition of incumbency was rubbery if you were looking a players who were filling in for other players who may themselves have been fill ins (i.e. he wasn't committing to anything)
He spoke directly about Ponga and Reece Walsh and said he will make a decision in three weeks. He said Ponga needs to 'play some games' and Walsh has been adding to his game and game management and should continue that process.
Basically he said he has a shit load of players to choose from and he's not going to make any commitments
I was reassured that he had been doing his 'Jue Jiligence'

Cotter not mentioned, that's right.
My take on a couple of comments: Difi in the 17; Ponga needs more games but that could mean 1 extreme or the other (although felt he was leaning towards him); Slater is a massive Robson fan.
It's a very refreshing interview, and keeps going for 3 minutes after it officially ends. Billy is also a MASSIVE fan of due diligence, although he struggles to articulate it...

If Olo is benched I might just punt on Greig. Starting prop at 280K. Could be handy and should hopefully see 25-30 points per week. Can play round 13 too if you can fit him in. I'll probably only have Horse and maybe Tapine as I missed JDB so I'm warming to it.

I was going to sell Cotter for Hopgood after buying last week which is annoying
Probably still will because my expectation was a quick cash grab rather than R13 so he might drop more in price before R13
