Not punting JDB immediately is one of the more bizarre decisions a club has made. Good clubs don't keep problems around.
Same with Hasler and that manly kid who got done for stabbing someone.

Spot on....
Dragons have been all over the place since keeping JDB around during that whole saga (I know, 'not found guilty' etc etc but still pretty shitty behaviour at the very least).
Manly are in a similar boat with the decision on Fainu compounded by the Jersey debacle last year.
In both of these scenarios you force players/officials who may be uncomfortable with the situation to be outwardly supportive of the protagonist.
In any other workplace you get the arse regardless of innocence/guilt....the 'don't appear in the paper' policy
my tv broke wrote:Meanwhile look at Dolphins and how they're going. Squad full of average/underated players but no off-field issues anywhere. Easy to build team unity/culture with a group like that.
Greatest coach ever also helps but Bennett also isn't a tactical genius, just keeps it simple and truly cares for the players.

I could never get my head around them not sacking JDB yet sacking Vaughn immediately for the BBQ thing.

I think my only trade this week (if any) is dealing with Cook. (mostly because Alamoti to Te Whare has to wait a week)
What are your plans? For me it is probably Robson or nothing

Thats NRL policy, innocent until proven guilty, but no fault compulsory stand down.

Holding. Robson (or whoever) is no guarantee to score better, and Cook still has ceiling of banner.

Sitili last week no arms flying tackle called turnover then goes and scores. DWZ gets hand in face vs Penrith. Not even a pen then has to go off for HIA

Cleary + Boyd to Turbo + hands
What a shit show. Got Cleary back, at a higher price. The upside was it allowed me to bring in carrigan a week later.

Clubs are under no obligation to renew or extend their contracts though (which I believe happened in both of those cases) and they could have grounds to terminate based on the situation.
