Did Cleary get a point? he was on 91 before wasn't he? but 92 now

I gained 14 points and 97 ranks with the updates, so not complaining

The Broncos terminated Gagai's contract for turning up late to training. (among other minor things like weight targets in gym, but that was the final straw).

The dragons could have easily leant on 'breaching' club code of conduct/etc.

I think it's probably pertinent to point out that the Dragons didn't need to cancel his contract by the time De Belin had not been found guilty. His contract ended in 2020.

The Dragons then elected to re-sign him for a further 3 years... i.e. essentially this part of his playing career is all on a new contract that was fully aware of past indiscretions (seems a bit of a light description)

The Warriors also chased after JDB, as part of a strategy that has seen them sign Dylan Walker amongst others...

Updated to 988. Cleary captain would have been huge.

Choosing which one to stick with will be tough

Soni Luke has started to bleed cash. Needs to be dropped.

Any obvious cashouts other than Te Whare (who I love but concerned about JS)?

Looking at bringing in Billy Smith, have just realised that if NAS is injured, I can do:

    Sami > Smith

Updates were kind to me 1017 rank up from 707 to 312 overall. Pretty stoked with that. Overall score 8968. I have 20 trades left. Lemu and I Kat on byes and I have Soni and Couchman not sure I wanna play both AJ and Bula.

Tatola and Luki not screaming buys. Still might get Luki Cows have a good next 3 games

    Updated to 1023.

It seems I am the Fantasy equivalent of Cleary right now and been accumulating ghost points since my full-time score of 988.

    A summary of my Magic Round weekend;

FRI: Got hit by a car (a twisted ankle, but otherwise I'm fine), no players playing... rank falling

SAT: Debuted as a slightly hobbly (football) coach to a rag-tag crew of 3 to 5 year-olds. The previous coach only lasted a week (this coaching gig is a tough). 7 players played, holding rank.

SUN: 10 players today. Kid saw his first-ever Tigers win, and ah, the Tigers won again.
Climbed to second in the overall, but then updated to first. Magic Sunday

Are you trying to set records for how many times you can trade the same guy in and out of your team? I'm assuming you probably want NAS back when he's fit (doesn't mean he isn't a trade out now if he's injured for a while)

Murray is such a tough one aye, obviously he has fallen off a cliff and should be traded out but everyone just kinda seems sideways around his price (maybe I'm relying on his old pedigree too much?)

Also is Tanah Boyd a buy lol? His base is incredible these days and provides hooker cover

Would love not to have needed to trade him at all.

5.Ravalawa - miles between his best game and worse, little bit shit.
6.Amone - Hammer wielding psycho who will pay to stay out of jail….young and still shit.
7.Hunt - Great, except when needed to carry a team of shits, and crunch time moments.
8.DeBellend- “innocent” rapist…. But actually a good player
9.Mbye - old and still shit
    10.Lawrie - Standard
11.Burns - Wouldn’t get a start at any other club, shit.
12.Su’a - bit long in the tooth, best days behind him.
13.Bird - Not shit, probably not a lock either. Uses the least amount of shoulder to tackle in the NRL.

14.Sullivan - “secret weapon Sullivan”, yeah he went great…. Against the Tigers. Young and shit.
    15.Molo - If he wasn’t so shit people would know he’s a convicted stalker….
    16.BMM - Old, fat, shit.
17.Kerr - Will be interesting to see once he’s at the Phins, don’t think he’s shit just think he’s there.

So, in summary and as I said in pre season also…. The Dragons are shit, there’s no point blaming one person, there’s plenty of fault to go around.
That said, I would be furious if my coach was hiring the people he’s brought in. Take into account though, while it won’t be said out loud I’m sure his biggest cheerleader Hunt played a big part in bringing a lot of them there.
    My 2 cents

Most of the young guys would look perfectly fine if they were in a better team or even just a better coached team. Or not all bought into top grade and expected to learn all at once. Expect Sloan

Probably buying Boyd as a keeper HOK at price but that’s not to say he isn’t

May have overreacted ditching him after his shocker against Dragons (traded to Preston, wish I traded one of the other dud cheapies at the time)

After having a different score every time i looked, ended on 1034 which bumped me up to 51 and more importantly into the top 10 of the FOG!

Hoping for a week where I can hold fire. Probably need to deal with the Couch if an opportunity pops up.
