Hahaha...I was reading this thinking wait til R13 mate, then I got to the last bit..good moves but rem Eels have the bye in 14.

Thoughts on Blues origin pack. I think the starting pack explains itself with a couple of spots available for bench who knows what Freddy will do…

Both decent choices, if you don't need R13 coverage.

If you need a FB for R13 then drinky.

Deciding between these two as well. Leaning towards Brandon at the moment. Drinky on standby for me if Walsh makes origin.

Warriors playing at the same time as the Bulldogs is an absolute stitch up.

Would have loved to have seen Alamoti score before deciding who to trade Ford to

JDB for a blues jersey if he's not careful.

Owners will appreciate some underwhelming 40-50s for a few weeks so he's safe through the origin period.

Liam Martin hasn't played since R7 - and isn't named to start this week. Even if he gets a game in I think he's unlikely for game 1. He's not that much better than his potential replacements that he's worth rushing back in.

Last year Api started and Cook off the bench. Don't think they'll have 2 hookers if Hynes does make the bench though.

I'd love to see it if the Warriors kicked the game off 2 hours before their opponents.

Probably still not get any calls go their way even without an opposition

    Latrell + couchman > jdb/hopgood + drinkwater

10k spare after that trade, so it’s potentially this week or never.

Gives me 2 extra players for round 13. Gives me points from drinkwater+jdb/hopgood this week, instead of latrell + hands/dunster.

Leaves me with 14 trades and the risk that a trade in makes origin/gets injured.

    Thoughts?

JDB for Origin would be a very bad look and a media disaster. Also, he's a great fantasy player but a plodding 7/10 in real life nowadays. Genuinely couldn't give NSW anything they couldn't get from Alex Twal. (Not that I'm suggesting Twal for Origin.)

As a JDB non-owner, I hope he makes it, at least for game one. He did play all 3 games in 2018 so it's not like he hasn't been there before and done well.

Given that Jurbo's gone I think there's a decent chance of it.

I am a Kiwi, but I have followed league since the early 80s, my team had always been the Raiders.

I will say this, through many years I have been a fairly unbiased viewer of Warriors games and have witnessed an overwhelming feeling of ref bias.

a lot of the 50/50 calls seem to go against the Warriors.

Over recent years I felt it had improved quite substantially from the earlier years, where previously it is a running joke amongst many fans that the Warriors play against 14 men.

I am sure if there is any bias it is unconscious, but I have seen it.

But I do feel like there is a lot of weekly ref scrutiny, so it's more likely our own biases subconsciously at play Smile
