Thoughts on buying Lemuelu at his current price, or should I just get someone cheaper like Billy Smith or Koula?

If Manu's out, then I have no centre cover for him (and VTW seems like a no go)

As a head to head player who wants to bring in the top guys is there any issue with getting in Origin players.
My major concern is that they play reduced minutes and I could have got them cheaper, however I dont really want to keep adding in guys that wont be in my finals squad.
Im looking to upgrade Reynolds and Yeo 880k (best of the best), Grant 820k (not a bad price) or Ipap (cheap but not leaps ahead of other edges not named David) are the guys im looking at.

If you're playing H2H, then Origin players are fine, especially Origin players from the Panthers, Roosters, Storm, Titans and Broncos, as these teams have their remaining byes in round 13/16/19, rounds that most H2H comps aren't running.

the missing games are not a concern.
the worry was more picking up Yeo at 880k and then they give him a early show the week after a 1-2 origin game and then all my opponents pick up Yeo for 100k cheaper later on.
Not sure how often this happens.
Im fairly comfortable in making my finals so I dont even care if my Origin players are rested the week after a origin game I just dont want them play half a game and bleed cash.

Thought Wilson was very good for the dogs. Unlikely to hold his spot over Kiraz and JAC. Probably unlikely to get a run anytime soon barring injuries

Would seem like he trained today..
Niko left training early with a corked quad, but apparently all good.

Tempted to grab Murray and Cook at combined 400k discount on starting price, origin and byes be damned

Never in my life seen anyone better at sinking beers than an NRL player
I've never drunk with NRL players, but when on a Contiki trip in my 20s where one of the lads was a Kiwi who was playing rugby in Australia/England (later France). He'd feigned injury with his semi-pro English club side to make the trip lol. He was somewhat restrained due to being on tour with his Aussie girlfriend, but it was still mental.

I love the old 'fears are that joey Manu has suffered ligament damage'.
You damage your ligaments pretty much every time you roll your ankle it's the extent of the damage which is the deciding factor in any lay off.
Also looking like the Shire have piped down about Shane Flanagan being the mastermind behind Manly's early form...guess loss = Siebold & win = Flanagan

Also keep in mind that Turuva had a very similar injury a few weeks ago and didn't miss any games.
I'm holding out hope that Manu plays

I'm not a physio, but the NRL physio said with Manu that it looked like a lower ankle sprain where it might just be a week or two. Of course, caveat there is he's going off video footage and not making an actual diagnosis.

back in the day when i was a youngster but my older brother told me about the night brent todd, daley, clyde came down to drink at my club glenora it was when aussie were touring nz & toddy had glenora connections i think he played some games for glenora before he went to the raiders so he brought the raiders boys down for a drink...their capacity to drink was immense.
