Will probably hold Manu as A) there's no wfb I want to trade him to this round (have no cover with Manu out, no centre cover either but that's ok) and B) trades are dwindling a bit.

Thinking will just wait til next round and assess the situation re any updates on Manu and Walsh re origin.

With Tohu and SJ out I'll have to play two of Niko, Olo or Edwards (likely trade in) which isn't the best but will do the job

Need Bennett to keep VTW on the bench, in which case I'd still get him.

They have the bye in 13, so will be 2-weeks IRL which is long enough most likely according to NRL Physio based on what he's seen.

Should be good in round 14 to dominate the Dogs (and will be especially useful as Miller will be out for me - and Garrick will be out for those who have him, similarly Gutho). Will be a handy hold imo.

Reluctantly I’m holding too. Started with him so if I sell then that’s 200k gone, he can still make it back if he pulls his Squid Game fingers out

I'm not entirely convinced Lemuelu doesn't regress to low 40s like he was getting before the last 3 weeks, and guys like Timoko and Penisini don't seem like they're consistent enough to be genuine top centres.

I got NULL early ish and it was almost as frustrating as watching Fifita play the last few years-he just wasn't going looking for the ball.

He may have had a gee up or turned the corner himself, but it was a tough watch till he started scoring tries.

Only thing is that if Walker is also fit round 14 I wouldn't be surprised if he comes back in.

If we get 2022 Manu at centre that's fine but if more like 2020 and 2021 (and start of 2023) scoring around say 40, then when he's priced at 48 currently it might not be optimal use of the funds.

Yeah I'm off that now, currently my plan is Ramien and Luki in for Hosking and Russell, keeping Manu.

Manu may not return as a 5/8. Robbo could possibly keep Hutchinson there.

I was going to do Teddy to Lemu and move Manu to wfb. Now with Manu injured i'll just do Manu to Lemu meaning Teddy survives another week.
Ive got 18 trades so hopefully i can do Teddy to Manu if Manu does stay at 6.
Ive also got Ford to Luki locked in.

What was that magic cap figure that gives a perfect 17 and solid 18th man? Might be getting to that point depending on trades left where trading in non keepers has to slow down.

Only bought Teddy three weeks ago* for a bargain price, so I don't feel too bad if I burn him @ round 13 for someone bye relevant. Costs me a couple o' trades I guess


*Big brain plan to trade Walsh to him to have a solid 40s scorer in WFB and the trade Walsh back in later if he misses origin and had dropped $$$

I think it was 15m squad value

Having a lower squad value isn’t the be all and end all though

Conventional wisdom is $14m, but this year I think you might need more than that, because with a club on byes every week plus short-term injuries etc you ideally need your 18/19/20 to be pretty strong rather than just having an 18th man. Currently at $13.675m, but Miller experiencing worrying freefall.

yeah no way I’ll be getting near 15mil and as far as value goes I’m near the top at 13.7, shame the scores don’t correlate.
