Burbo is going to end up on the list of trades we look back on at season end and go "WTF was I thinking"

Just iKat>Burbo for me this week. Leaves me just one WFB short of a full 13 in R13, just looking to see if Walsh makes origin or not, otherwise I will likely pivot to Garrick.

Gonna throw a very left field name out there for those considering Garrick, CNK, Drinkwater et al for R13.
Alex Johnston has dropped 154k on his starting price. Plays R13 and 19 and the Bunnies have a very nice upcoming draw (Eels, Raiders, Titans, Dragons, Cowboys, Warriors, Dogs).
The past three years he's averaged 1, 1.4 and 1.2 tries per game. Only averaging 0.5 so far this year, so he's very capable of going on a run soon with that sort of draw and the Bunnies sitting pretty at the top of the table.
Last two seasons he's averaged 41, priced at about 32 right now. With the way WFB is going this year if he averaged mid 40s he could stick around for a while.
Probably a bit too risky, but just one to consider.

The problem is he plays outside Tass, who I don't understand how became a first grade player.
The plays seem to be moving more to the right side of the field (Graham). And when it does come left Tass almost always does something stupid.
I've been watching the games very closely after trading him in supercoach. Made the same mistake with Cobbo unfortunately.

Burbo very well may have been holding the door open for his brothers when talent got delivered to the family. He still does possess a nice pass and can tackle.

Currently thinking I'll do:
Alamoti -> Burbo
Hosking -> Matto
(maybe) Granville -> Hedwards
Then next week:
Boyd -> Tohu
Loiero -> Hopgood (or another edge if he makes origin)
That gives me 12 for R13:
- Spoiler:
Robson
Tapine Matto Tohu
Hopgood Luki
SJ IKat
Lemuelu Burbo
Walsh Miller x
Anything obvious I'm missing? And is Granville to Hedwards worth a trade? I have 22 left before doing anything if that helps.
Agree with Matt on this. I’d be getting hopgood this week and matto next if he’s not picked.mattnz wrote:
High chance, was selected for game 1 last year on form, then unavailable for selection game 2. NSW short on forwards, I expect his chances of being selected are higher than non selection.

The Shire talking about how Hunt is a good fit for the Bulldogs.
I would of thought Oloapu is their guy now, especially after that 500k transfer fee and now starting him.

He is not NRL standard and has a top 30 spot based entirely on his surname

True, but he's only 18 still.
If you can bag Hunt I don't see any reason you wouldn't.

I wish Jurbo could go back to being at a Fantasy relevant price.
Absolutely love that guy, hoping Freddie doesn`t pick him as a QLD fan

Burbo is only 21, Jurbo didn’t really establish himself till about the 22/23 year old mark and in a much less “talent demanding” position.
Personally I’d give the kid a chance to develop a couple of years before declaring him unworthy.

Just saw the NBA draft lottery today.
San Antonio Spurs will be have the first pick to get Victor Webanyama (7 foot 5 generational prospect)
The NFL draft has thousands and thousands of viewers watching it live in person.
Made me think how cool it would be if the NRL had a draft.
Obviously doesn`t really make logistical sense to have one but as a fan it would be so cool.

Not bad but I’d consider JMK instead of Robson. Scoring the same and already one bye covered.

I got Oloapu on a similar trajectory as Ikat.

Yeah, but probably going to do it anyway....you have to have one of those in your 21 to remind you not to do it again (until you get sick of the sight of them and switch them to the next guy on the list)
Couchman to Burbo for me this week , allows a decent upgrade elsewhere to a bye round player I'd actually be happy to have in my team for the rest of the season rather than a mid range punt
If I'm wrong I wear it, knowing the risks
