    I still prefer Garrick tbh.

Priced at about 37, averaging 46 when he plays 30+ mins on the wing this year (so excluding his injury game + game at centre).
Yes I know I have Miller and Hopgood and might get Moses next week so if I got Garrick too that’s 4 guys on the bye round 14 not ideal.

    Boyd
    Horse Haas De Belin
    Preston Hosking
    Cleary SJ
    Lemu Bird
    Teddy Miller Bula

    Hopgood Loiero Cheese Manu
    AJ I. Katoa Soni Couchman

Looks ugly for me currently round 13 wise too.

Any suggestions? 282k spare I’m thinking

Teddy to Drinky or CNK probs Drinky
    Couchman to Luki maybe
    Hosking to Robson
    Boyd to Moses maybe?

I want to trade Russell to Davey and one of the above two guys to Billy Smith, and then trade the other to Tohu Harris next week. The margin is pretty tight and I need those scores (based on Footystats projections) in order to afford Tohu next week.

I think you'd have to say Hosking scoring 40 seems more likely. He's only gone below 40 once this year, Teddy gone below 31 three times.

I guess it depends if Hosking's still starting this week. Odds are he will (most likely Martin starts and Sorensen moves back to the bench) but it could get spicy.

I got 9 for R13, but that includes Granville and one of iKatoa/Niko, also assumes Hopgood and Horse aren't in Origin. And this is with some planning the last couple of weeks hahaha fuck I'm bad at this.

    Plan at R13 was:
    Carrigan to Harris
Boyd to a Gun EDG (or Ford/Curran-range if cash strapped)
    Teddy to WFB (Miller/Gutho/HTF/Garrick)
    Niko to NQ FWD (Luki/Lolo/Hess)

I can sell Haas instead of Carrigan (ok with this), or Manu instead of Teddy (less ok wth this) for more cash

But now thinking I need to do a few extra trades earlier, to strengthen team and also in case Hop/Horse is picked and I need to make more than 4 trades.

e.g. Can also can sell Hosking to create bank if team lists are bad from him (e.g. to Edwards would be 300k - but would need to check Edwards JS with injured players), which might allow Granville up to Robson.

I dunno, been busy at work this week and haven't even looked at BEs

I jumped on him first week back mostly because I've started following the blue dogs advice and getting players I like watching. Had him last year for a long time and was gutted about the ACL just as he was coming good minutes wise.

From a numbers perspective though I bought him hoping for a 40ish average with great byes through to R16 and then hopefully trading up from there with option of holding if he guns it. That would be hopefully be 100k plus with a bit of upside. Think he's harder to pick up now over 500k but I'm hoping his minutes will increase as he gets his legs back/fear of aggravating his hammy fades. He's capable of playing 80 and there's surely better uses for a bench spot than spelling Luki for the rest of the season

I think long term the Cowboys will play Nanai 80 on the right edge then rotate Luki and Luciano on the left, with Luciano playing the role that Gilbert was last year and playing a bit of middle too.

Is this a little sideways for a H2H player?

Ford to Garrick (If I don't get a WFB then im playing Tommy T
Granville to H.Edwards (cash gen and better scorer hopefully)

I actually make a little bit of cash so that rather then go Reynolds to Ipap I can go

Reynolds to Grant (best Hooker in the game which Ill eventually need for finals)

Ford Reynolds Hosking to Yeo Ipap H.Edwards and just play Tommy T untill Manu is back was my original plan.

Yeah that's fair, all likelihood just jump off round 17, in the meantime I'll be happy if he can average 40-45 and make 100k off the back of last weeks score.

Oh yeah if you have him already great work, and that's a good plan to have.

I don't own him yet and will probably go Davey instead because Davey's most likely safe until Lane gets back (round 17-19 based on the 6-8 week prognosis), and potentially even after that (He had the right edge spot even before Lane went down).

That monetary saving also lets me sell Teddy instead of Hosking which is nice (although depends on what the Panthers team list looks like, I may sell Hosking anyway if he isn't starting)

Have any of you considered that Davey sucks? It should factor into your decision.

Does he suck though? He seems more of just a plodder who can make a lot of tackles, which is perfectly fine.

Might not be so good for Granville maybe... but probably shouldn't make too much difference till after the bye you'd guess (if at all)

And Cowboys have released winger Laitia Moceidreke to the Knights, effectively immediately, which may/may not be related to creating space for Bob Jane.

    He's your new Coach.

EDIT: just realised you said Knights, not Dragons. Nothing to see here.

Average NRL players with good fantasy output are still good fantasy options, as long as they have job security
