I'm not sold on Luki. But I can see why people want him. The question is, how much are two trades (in and out) worth? Because I can't see Luki being a keeper, and also, he had a freakish 2 try haul on the weekend (abnormal).

    Currently have 16 trades left

10 for Rd 13 (assuming Horse and Gilbert are available)
7 for Rd 16 (+ Hynes if available)
10 for Rd 19 (+ Hynes if available)

Not that I want a lot of those players in my team by Rd 19 so it's a movable feast after next week.

I traded him in 2 weeks ago, but I don't think I'd be chasing him now if I didn't have him.

Thanks, Wolfie - all fair and well thought out suggestions, so will definitely mull it over

Yeah, fortunately, I have $167k in savings which will help offset the $80k that Lane has lost me.
Hopgood is still my preferred option for Edge, and was originally aiming for Tohu as the other MID, just got to check my money will balance out as cash generation went from $310k from R10 to just $40k this week (highlights the sudden downturn).

I'm 90% sure I'll just hold Manu, and tempted to persevere with Teddy as well.
I was originally intending on holding Lane through the byes (and hope he gains some form), so with trades tight I might just skip a WFB for R13 and run with 12... maybe...

I think running short in the WFBs for next week will be fine.  I'd rather have a full forward pack and it's going to be hard to justify a WFB trade especially if holding Manu.

However, that's the kicker for me that needs to be thought of and where getting an extra mid range WFB may be needed.  I'd Manu isn't back and Ted doesn't back up, with Miller on a bye, could be dicey.  I'm 50/50 on Manu, only because there's conflicting return estimations.  Rolling an ankle before, round 14 is highly likely.

Edit: Ah yes, you have Drinkwater already. I don't think you'd need to be handcuffed into a 3rd WFB for next week.

You'd just hope he could be a reliable 17th/18th man I think but that's if he were to keep an edge spot. Lucy and Nanai first choice edges you would think. Definitely not an easy situation.

Same boat, I think he was good value at 460k, much more marginal at 516k having already missed the boom score. I'd be getting Davey if it was a choice between the two this week.

How likely do we think Matterson is to get EDG dual? Would make a big difference to my trade plans if he did.

Would like to get Null in my team. Thinking it's time to let AKP go, but to make up the difference I'll need to trade kNik down to a shitto.

Who scores more in Rd 13 - Burbo or Dunster?

You might get an answer at TLT. Burbo might get the edge

Just had my first real look at my round 13 numbers, and its pretty ugly.

    Cook
    Haas Carrigan Tapine
    Bird Preston
    SJ Cleary
    Manu Lemu
    Tedesco Miller Walsh
    Boyd Horsburgh BS9 Bula
    Nikorima IKatoa Alamoti Oloapu

    7 worthwhile guys + one of Nikorima/Ikatoa.

There is a low chance Cook doesn't get picked for origin.

17 trades in the bank, I'm not even sure what (if any) trades I should make this week. SJ on a bye is a hold, Manu injured but also a hold. No cash in the bank. Need Niko to make a few more dollars.

Preston and Alamoti are probably surplus to requirements by next week. Preston to a Davey/Luki frees up a little bit of cash too and probably gets similar/same scoring.

Bula is making good coin and Oloapu isn't worth trading out (obviously the hope there is that he starts at 6 soon).

Boyd and BS9 neither here nor there, reasonable scorers and DPP very handy (although not in round 13 lol)

Carrigan can probably go for round 13.

Actually - Burbo's not much use to me, as I'll already have 2 EDG and 2 CTR for rd 13. WFB is where I'm short.

Might just go Dunster and hope he jags a try or 3.

Any interest in CNK? I can trade Teddy to Drinky or CNK but thinking might be best to wait a week as Roosters have Dragons.

Lomax is apparently back this week, any interest in him now that Hook's gone?

501k and a BE of 25 is not a bad price

    I still prefer Garrick tbh.

Priced at about 37, averaging 46 when he plays 30+ mins on the wing this year (so excluding his injury game + game at centre).

I never thought I'd see the day, but Teddy is going in the loop this week.

Maybe that'll force him to pull finger.

What do we think is more likely, that Teddy scores at least 31, or Hosking scores at least 40.

I want to trade Russell to Davey and one of the above two guys to Billy Smith, and then trade the other to Tohu Harris next week. The margin is pretty tight and I need those scores (based on Footystats projections) in order to afford Tohu next week.
