NRL Fantasy 2023 Part 53 - Back to the footy!

Can't really see anyone I want to trade Haas to. Will have enough MIDs for the round anyway with planned trades, missing an edge and a WFB, but the only ones I don't have that I'm half-interested in are Garrick and Haumole and they (a) will leave me in trouble in R14 with the small bye; b) are surplus to requirements with full edges and wings for R16.

Guess I'll wait and see whether Haas backs up and if he doesn't can trade him to someone more useful (Cook, probably) next week and pocket a useful bit of bank. Not backing up is the big thing... don't care about him losing cash or getting a few less points than usual as long as he's playing and I'm not short for the post-Origin small byes.

I keep looking at that Blues squad and am really scratching my head as to how they are going to use the bench.

I'm thinking Haas plays 60.

TPJ 2 x 15 min psycho stints.

Almost expect Martin to start over Hudson Young, with Young playing about 25mins in his sporadic style.

As for Hynes... comes in at half and Luai to 9? Weird.

Currently looking like some of the Edges they picked will be playing Middle.

It's a really good question, and one that has me double-guessing my Hudson trade-out. There's no question the faders need him on the edge, and if he's just one of many many impact-edges then he might be able to back up

Tohu, JDB, Horse
Bird, Hopgood
SJ, Ikatoa
Lemuelu, (dnp)
Drinkwater, Gutho, (dnp)

With this squad + extras I'll have 9 players for rd16, and 11 players for rd19

I brought him in last round as I thought if selected, he probably plays a smaller role. And as for Raiders, they need him especially with Whitehead out. Obviously this is all dependent on origin HIAs etc too.

Read something this morning where they would add an extra forward for opposed sessions. Makes sense it's a player from a bye team. People are going to read that this means he's ahead of Cook though

Barry Toohey saying Miller will be bench utility. That's probably worse than not playing. 15 points or 50-60k of price drops.

Knights play last as well, so can't even keep if he somehow ends up at FB
