Taylor looks worth hanging on to.
Mitchell is a keeper at WFB.
Mbye is a fantasy superstar, along with Taupau, Tedesco and Surgess. If they're not in your team, get them. I held off on RTS last year until I couldn't afford him and I knew it was a mistake. I had a chance to get him and went farkin Fergo. I finished 108th. I reckon if I'd got him I'd have had a shot at the title. Lesson learnt.
Barba will come good and fullbacks in general are gold this year.
Don't worry about trading early. You can hold off on the taxes when your team is right.
Get rid of the shit scorers early. In my team they are Feeney, Green, Henry Luelaie, and Gordon. Maybe Claw. I don't think any of them will come good. I can only get rid of Gordon now. The rest will have to wait.

This week, I'm thinking Cooper > Lawrence, Gordon > Tedesco. They should both be keepers. That gives me.

    Smith, Friend
    Lawrence, Surgess, Evans/Gavet
    Parker, Taupau, Mannering, Saifiti
    Hastings, Mbye, Niko/ Taylor
    Lawrence, Hunt
    Mitchell, Tedesco, Barba

With bugger all other cows or depth.

So I need scores now and any injuries to guns can hopefully easily be replaced. That's my strategy anyway. Rock on.
    Rabbit

You think BLaw is a keeper Rab? I would of thought more of a cashie, an easish upgrade to Bromwich/Graham/Fifita further on down the track

I agree on Barba think he will do his job of making some decent coin by posting some respectable scores

Do you think Taupau continues his role as an 80 minute backrower throughout the season?

    Is this really Rabbit?
I like the new and improved, helpful and positive Rabbit, but I hope he hasn't lost the banter completely. Don't let age mellow you too much mate Razz

PS: That looks like a really strong side to have this early, well done.

Do those considering JTurbo consider him to be a season keeper?

Not sure if this is allowed, but this overall group I started has 72 players so far, made up of weapons, renegades and fanatics.

If you're not already part of the 'Top Guns'......get in!

    Trades I'm considering

    1. LAM to BLaw, Benry to Ted via Guth  16k

    2. LAM to BLaw, Bhana to JTurbo via Surgess  162k

Kinda leaning towards 2. Hopefully leaves me enough to upgrade Gordon to Munster, Dugan, GI, RTS if/when they bottom out

    Any advice?

Probably way to early to be trying to get cute and do something different especially when I'am pretty happy with my team and the only major concerns are getting Green, Benry and Feeney out and with LAM on notice

Can probably wait a few weeks on getting RTS, Semi, Dugan in

Depends on what you want mate, Teddy for the explosive huge scores with some 30s when he doesn't score or JTurbo for a standard 45+ from base stats with the capability of the odd massive score if he bundles himself over the line

what is the your WFB makeup if you don't get Tedesco?
what is the your FR makeup if you don't get JTurbo?

If I don't get Ted I'm rather thin at the back with Gordon, Barba, Mitchell, Feeney, Guth (and Benry at centre)

If I get JTurbo I would have Graham, JTurbo, Evans and BLaw (Surgess goes to 2FR) if I don't get Turbo FRF would be Graham Surgess Evans BLaw.

Another consideration is either way I'm getting rid of a dud/injured player but I feel like getting rid of Bhana is better because cows in the centre spot are probably less reliable and Benry could just sit there for now given I don't have the centre problem some have with Aubs/Claw there. Hope my ramblings make sense?

    Break Evens

Rd2 continued the low scoring trend. 1,192 points per game, lower than any round last year.
That keeps the magic number high, which means big price rises for those guys that get the big scores.

BEs here, and first page of the sticky thread will be updated.

Everyone asking about same few players, so gonna ask which ones are the most important.
    Teddy
    Taupau
    JTrbo
    Graham
    BLawrence

BLawrence is pretty much my only definite trade in for Cooper this week, but of the other 4, how would you rate them?

BLaw is coming in to my side. I have Graham. Taupau I'm hesitant on and expensive. I'm having trouble deciding between Ted and JTrbo
