Was his suspension 3 games or 4 games?

If it's 3 then he can play (missing 13/14/15)

If it's 4 then he can't (missing 13/14/15/17 because of the Phins bye in 16)

    3 games

I'm dribbling in Brisbane atm. Was gonna go to the Bris meet-up last year but ended up going to magic round with 10+ mates instead. Me and all my heaps of friends then swam in a really big pool I have in my back yard (500m sized pool, really really big) and all my mates really like me.

That was the greatest game ever. Was in Year 12 and me and all my mates drank warm yellow (light) TUNs we hid in bushes on the roof of a public toilet post-game until we all power spewed. School next day was sick.

You are really putting your hand up today to host the next Brisbane meet up

Weekes owners will be happy with 17s for another few weeks.

Don't think I'm happy he will be down to 220k

    Definitely not in consideration.

So this is the good oil that Butters referred to.

Given Weekes's performances this season, I'd be amazed if Garrick isn't fullback for Manly now when Turbo out.

Working my way through the pages to catch up. Sorry if already been mentioned but surely the Liddle / Turpin debate hinges on who you already have.

If you have Robson you get Liddle. If you have Cook / JMK you go Turpin?

Obviously bank etc needs to be factored in.

That works too, although I can see Cook playing Origin by Game III

Maybe. I just don't like Turpin or Liddle as sure-fire options, Robson is up and down but still close to mid 50 scorer

I was all set for 1 trade Bird to Bateman but looking at my Rd 16 team spreadsheet rather not lock in EDG yet and heard Sorenson mentioned as option so that DPP MID is really useful. Looking at BEs I could get Bateman later so is Sorenson a decent option playing all games up to 19?

Is Robson a great trade the week before his bye?

I guess you're trading in a keeper, and you're likely to be trading out Bird or someone else who is out/not a great option.
But his BE isn't that low and waiting a week may not be the worst.

I'm seriously thinking going Tuprin for cash reasons.

I mean everyone traded Hopgood in last week before his bye too

Doesn’t really make a difference in the long run

Overcooked. Played through origin last year. World Cup. Now Roosters aren't clicking. Also FB is a young blokes game... Teddy is 30, not many continue to be super elite as FBs past that.

This.  Warning, partisan inflammatory view incoming.

MS makes good points with his "facts". No really, great post, I'm not knocking that.

But the blues like to talk about themselves. And fair enough, the NRL was born out of the NSWRL. I'm old enough to remember, a child of the 80s, my Dad banging on about how NSW used to smash QLD all the time prior to origin. A chip on our shoulders? You betcha.

I no longer live in the same city as Dad. A few years back, when I was visiting, we were driving back to their place listening to the radio. NSW media were, as usual, talking about NSW without reference to Qld. When I pointed it out, I remember Dad saying, "and they wonder why we hate them so much" haha. It's deeply ingrained. To be fair, it probably is down there too.

Tip of the iceberg. For me there were so many red flags about NSW team picks. Hudson Young not origin worthy imo regardless about early stuff. Turbo questionable with injury affected lately. Would rather Hynes and Burton got in there over others. Fittler job on the line and rightfully so
