Been hearing a lot about Young but I thought he did exactly the job he was supposed to. Issue again is probably Fittler's use of the squad - teams don't generally use 31 minute edge players week to week, because it's a terrible idea.

Having said that, Friz was good and Martin was very good off the bench.

Just think NSW have 99 problems and Young ain't one.

Hudson Young was pretty woeful. Martin showed you can be passionate without all the hoo-ha. I wouldn't be surprised to see Young dropped for someone like Angus Crichton.

They should just play Martin and Frizell for 80 mins each and use Murray as edge cover if they need to, having 3 edges is overkill and using one of them for only 30 minutes is silly.

I would drop Young for another middle, maybe bring back Klemmer and tell him to just rip in for the first 30 mins and then go off. He isn't used that way at club level but is capable of it, and more importantly, he gets Origin in a way that most of the NSW team doesn't.

Short answer is Fifita and Hopgood, they're 10 and 5 points clear. Long answer is it depends.

Sorenson has played 80 last 2 with Martin playing 35 off the bench and minimum 66 mins last 5. Should play 80 vs Dragons you'd think and Cowboys Rd 16 if not next 4 up to Rd 19 bye. His MID/EDG DPP is very useful for me for Rd 16 planning. I've seen some say danger pick because of Martin but I don't know that it's that bad a risk?

Tago and Leniu in the extended squad although not directly effecting Sorensen could see the line up shuffled around resulting in a change of role for him.

    On Origin... and Rep footy

I think they should just pick the best in-form players of each respective State... disregard previous selections, each player has the opportunity to represent their state, not just the select few.

This is never going to happen, but it would make for a entertaining game of footy

Yes I need to change this, I lost a Bula vs Teddy bet I think

It was Hynes mate, betting against Teddy wouldn't have been nearly as impressive 😅

Fifita best by a mile. Other than Hopgood then Bateman, Papali'i and Nikoraare are pretty good options

Api did enough to get selected as a starter again.

If Freddie is going to shift to a double-hooker night, it will be Cook.
Robson is further down the pecking order.

More likely, Luai pays the price, Hynes starts at 6 and Burton comes in to 14 (and then sits out the entire game unless there's another HIA to Turbo).

So you're saying Brooks will be in the halves for Game 2?

Dont see Luai being the scapegoat, he played well and wasn't the problem.

I'm also not convinced that EKatoa isn't a final 17 player, and at 553k could be 200 under.

Still going the dullness of Cook/Bateman, but there's tempting times down south.

yeah Im seriously looking at Coates has a BE of 38 though so can maybe wait another week but would be a good cashout option over the coming weeks. Thing is you dont want him sitting at 18 so the only way i can see him being a good loop is if you have a WFB as a red dot or on a by.

Im very nervous about paying up for for Edwards as im a H2H player and my squad value isnt that great. I bought Grant for 820k a few weeks back and he has shed some cash (although still a good long term play)

Needing to bring a CTR in.

After looking for a while I have come to the conclusion Stafford To'a is the play.

Purely based on the fact he`s not terrible and has a BANNER.

I was just looking at him. Has had some reasonable scores besides his 101 so it's not entirely recency bias...

It still feels silly though. Hate bringing a guy in after his highest score of the season.

Don't get Coates until next week at the earliest (he should be 220k by then), and I would only advise buying him at all if the following applies to your team:

    * You need a cashout to facilitate another trade

    * There's no better cashout that you can afford

    * You don't have any dead spots in your 21 (so don't do it if you're carrying an injured Burbo or something like that)

If you're looking for a WFB cashout, I would be looking at Sloan as he continues to leak money (currently 323k with a BE of 36 so odds are he'll be sub 300 next week), since he at least has shown that he can go on runs of good scoring and get up to that 450k mark.

Yeah, there is genuine reason to bring him in DPP, play 16.

Approx 40 average taking out the low minute game and the 100, has the ability to go big
