He is the 3rd EDG in that pack behind Nanai and Lucy.

894 for the week. Losing my H2H by one. Maybe final updates to be kind? Didn’t expect Turps to score as well as he did, which is why I played Oloapu over him. My thought process there was Olo would score a couple of more points, which is why I did what I did. Moving forward. This is what my team will look like for round 15, without making any trades yet.

    Cook
    Tapine, Horse, Hopgood
    Bateman, Lemuelu
    Hynes, SJ
    Penisini, Manu
    Ted, Bula, CNK

    Hedwards, Kniko, Turpin, Garrick

    Oloapu, Cleary, De Belin, Luki

With a trade, it’s obvious Moses comes in for Cleary, which I estimate gives me $190K or so.

Cleary will be interesting. I'm sure the Panthers will be open and honest about his return timeframe.

Still don't own Hynes but if he plays origin (can't see how he doesn't get picked at 7 now), then he's only playing 1 of the next 3 and maybe two of the next five.

Captain decision without Cleary is unclear though too.

Cleary might be back by then though. I guess its just a bit of an unknown that far away.

That post from Camo makes it easy. Cleary to Moses for me, probably, and then look to add Hynes after origin is done/clear.

My initial thoughts is to hold Cleary this week and see what happens with Hynes. I can play SJ and Boyd in the halves. If Hynes gets dropped I'll go Cleary to Hynes. If Hynes does play then I'll go Moses.
I dont have JDB so thats one headache i dont have to worry about.
Captaincy options are going to be tricky. Ive got Fifita so I'll prob roll with him assuming he back starting.

You know what, with an extra 30 seconds to think about it, that might also be the move for me.

Can see how Niko/Ponga go in NPRs and decide on Saturday night what to do with Cleary.

Niko should have another reasonable price rise left now too.. hopefully plays 6 this week.

    Nrl Physio:

Scan results are in for Nathan Cleary, with the Panthers expecting him to miss up to 6 weeks. Likely grade 2 strain (partial tear) with that recovery timeframe - usual recovery range of 4-6 weeks in the NRL. Rules him out of Origin 2 & would be touch & go for Origin 3

    Not a bad idea there.

I already have Hynes so I don't think I'll be holding Cleary, I'll just move him straight on to Moses

Good post, but confused why Yeo is bolded and DCE with the same schedule - as the most obvious closest to like-for-like Cleary replacement for those who already have an Eels half - isn't

Short answer I was bolding who I was interested in

DCE is 5th best half on average vs Yeo 2nd best MID. Yeo also backed up pretty easily with 80 mins and not sure if DCE will back up both games (not sure of history)

DCE usually backs up, and Manly certainly need him to. He is getting older though...

Also, Penrith did rest *all* of their Origin players after Origin 3 last year.

Expect a delay in lockout being lifted today. Failhub scrambling to work out how to give Cleary ghost points.

I think it’s in relation to whether Hynes is dropped from Origin and waiting a week to see that before picking the Cleary trade

In a sign that lockout will be lifted by mid afternoon, my scores match on the app and website, but I’ll agree on your point and add that they’ll also try and take points away from Nicho.
