If you don’t have Moses, then Cleary to Moses makes the most sense for overall purposes

I don’t see a world where Hynes isn’t 7 for NSW. Seen Reynolds floated as an idea but Hynes makes the most sense

You could hold Cleary for a week and see if Hynes does get picked, but that’s 1m in your EMG doing nothing for a round

The Eels are going to suck without Brown.

I'm not convinced on trading in Moses or Penis.

Holzman wrote:ok after talking about moving on Fifi for Bateman I have come down to these 4 moves which all look solid for my H2H finals push.

Cleary to DCE (forced trade but pockets me some cash and I get an elite Half)
Granville to Fainu (simple cash out)
Edwards to Bateman (gives me Fifi Bateman Ipap so bearing injury my edges are set)
Alamoti to Penisini (I only have Manu and Alamoti now so Penisini a solid hopefully set and forget center)

    Thoughts on the moves?

only have 20k in the bank after these.

Looks good, just have a little looksie at your Rd 17 EDG situation. Bateman and iPap both have the bye (and Bula and Nicho and Preston and Oloapu)

And I would take Lemuelu over Penis.

The main appeal is a warm body for the byes! It's crazy looking at the ladder and seeing the Eels so low. Such an insane season, but a good season from a viewing perspective.

Moses doesn’t need attacking stats when he’s getting 600+ kick metres a game

Not sure it makes any sense to run both Parra halves. Tatola to Fainu, Cleary to DCE. Will do DBrown to Moses if Brown is stood down, otherwise will just have to deathride Mitch (would actually have the bank to bring him in for Oloapu but nah).

Interestingly Moses last played without Brown in 2021. Long time Brown has played consecutive games

Thanks, I have Fifi and E.Katoa so it should be fine as long as Fifi isnt rested. Im H2H so can take the hit that week worst case.

But yeah maybe I dont go Penisini, as others have also said no Brown also should hurt him.

Might just hold Alamoti and see how Bird goes or as you said get Lemmy in a few weeks when he is abit cheaper.

With Cleary gone, not sure it's worth trading Fifita out for double owners as you are going to want both back in for end of season run

My plan was to trade Hynes to Moses pre round 16, and then get Hynes back into the team for Rd 20/21.
Cleary out has messed with the plans, not optimal, but it is what it is.

I am an old fart in his 40s without access to daily physio through my workplace, so I expect Cleary will be better at returning to play than I was.

Just always figured you had beefstrings.

Probably should have gotten Ray Stone earlier, after rd 16 has lots of tackling to do if the body holds up

If you don't trad Fifita out, you don't lose any money.

If you assume he'll score fine in the weeks not straight after origin, then you're really spending 2 trades to save a few* bucks, and get a few* more points. ("few" may end up being significant depending on who you trade in, and how they manage Fifita's minutes over the next 6 weeks)

Personally I am low on trades, so if I had Fifita I would just hold on. Unlike Cleary at least he'll be taking the field, even if his scores are down a bit in a few gameweeks
