Looking to use Cleary funds to bring in Yeo & Ponga. Current halves are SJ & Hynes with Niko as back up

Is Simpkin an option as a plug in hooker for 16 and 19? Assuming Koro is in and around Origin 2 and 3

As opposed to a Robson/Turpin type?

Realistically Marzhew and Edwards are pretty much in the same mould of player (for fantasy) with same bye schedule. High RM and TBs and yet only talk about 1

The difference in Marzhew stats from 2022 is weird given the disparity in averages. Only 30m and 1.6 TB average more but major difference is 1.1 tries and 1.3 LBs vs 0.6 and 0.4 in 2022

I was looking at Marzhew last week (would have held Bird a week if I had chosen him over Edwards) and the main thing that keeps me away from him isn't anything to do with his fantasy output, it's that his defence is absolutely awful to the point where he could get dropped at any moment.

    Yes and no

Should score okay in those rounds but was expecting to score well in backup rounds as well with 2 day turnaround for Koro but only got 23 mins (even though Sheens said he would have brought him back if it wasn’t close)

Not going to make any worthwhile money as true price is probably well below 220k and not a useful loop because he’d probably be bench at full strength

My thought is his use is purely for the 2 bye rounds. Apart from those rounds he firmly sits at 21. It is a cashout of sorts until either another base pricer pops up during the run in or he just becomes a warm body

id rather blake brailey or mahoney if you need a hooker for those two rounds,

just realised its abou cash out and his low prices,

yes play on if api is selected, but also kind of early to have a long term red dot

Yeah I know cashing out is a fairly risky option. Just trying to keep an open mind going forward.

I feel like my team is in a good enough position to cash out a position especially if it has some bye value

As I have successfully burned through almost all of my trades (3 left, until I get the 4 bonus trades to keep me going), I'll have to hold Cleary.
There's no one I really want who isn't playing Origin.
With injuries happening, I need to wait until I know the player I trade in will actually be fit and healthy.

    It is 8.

Yeah 44 trades for the season. 4 + 4 = 8 extra. Snatch isn't the only magician around here.

That means if you have 4 heading into Round 20 you will have 12??

God it would suck to have them wiped and left with 8

On Dylan Brown, they said on 360 he will most likely be named and NRL will make a decision on Wednesday whether he will be stood down once they have looked at the evidence.
