I just saw a news report saying Dylan Brown will still play this week despite being stood down. Fuck me the NRL is such an unprofessional company. Just come out and make it clear what’s going on. They pump out 100s of useless stories surely someone can release something on this

Surely post R20, depth should be strong enough to have 18-19 keepers and would be pretty easy to loop then

Of those teams there isn’t many keepers
    Bulldogs - Preston?
    Cowboys - Robson, Drinkwater?
    Broncos - Haas, Carrigan?, Walsh?
Souths - Cook, Latrell?, Murray? (Wouldn’t class Murray in top 5 keeper MIDs)

With the WFBs with the above still having 3 byes (Drinkwater, Walsh, Latrell) you’d probably get better total points from similar keepers with 1 bye left (Marzhew, Edwards etc)

I have no Hynes, no Cleary, no Haas, no Fifita
Captains going to be an issue for a few weeks until I trade one of them in

Hopgood, Bateman, Cook plus maybe Horse for a wild pick are the ones I am considering

Top captains site wide are this. Hard to read too much into what active teams are doing, but I assume every active team with Hynes is captaining him

Define keeper, then look at your cash and trades remaining and work out how many keepers your team will have

Getting 19 with a few mid-rangers is very doable. But if you want Hynes+Cleary + guns in other positions most teams are going to struggle. I'd say you want well over 14mil team value at this point to be able to manage it, which is rare

If another Bula comes along then it will be more feasible, but I think having a strong 19th man will come at a big cost to your top 17 (may still be worth it if injuries and buys align at the wrong time)

Yeah, very good points. At the moment I only have 2 players from those teams, Robson and Granville (totally coincidental, have not looked that far ahead yet). Obviously Granville should be gone by then. Won't worry about Robson too much until closer to the time, also if I manage to get a week off in the playoffs, that will be the Cowboys bye round.

Also if I collapse and miss the 8, I get my money back if I win the bottom 8 playoffs which would be a bit of a disaster but has to be considered since I am 4th and 6 other teams have the same amount of points as me.

I'd go Cook if I owned him. Should be good for a 50 with a chance the "souths connection" tries to feed him some attacking stats to get the boys in origin 2 together

I'd consider leaning Bateman, playing a stage through the middle should create a very good base on top of his nous for attacking points

Must be a few layoffs at NRL Fantasy towers with Cleary injured. Graveyard shift not needed to comb through the footage for ghost points.

I am currently holding both. DPP status is useful for the big bye rounds.
Not sure what I'll do once the full Eels pack is ready to roll.

I think I'm selling. He misses 3 of the next 6 and may be rested for another 2 and that's if nothing else happens to him. Have decided to switch to Bateman.

It’s been half a season and it’s never been fully fit. Perhaps that’s just the way

VTW is developing cult hero status with the phins, similar to Koni Hurrell. they' might keep him in 1st grade as it means bums on seats

@Khany I don’t think Wayne is wired that way…The Phins have that many injuries/suspensions to worry about and VTW is a warm body.

Saying that, if he’s a regular starter next year he’s in my team
