Unlikely to try and get a 3rd.

Will otherwise have a full team (if origin/injuries are nice)

At the moment I’m looking at 11. Will probably force myself to buy a CTR and a WFB though to get 13 which is really annoying. I’m sure that as soon as I do they’ll both give me a lovely 15-20 pointer for my troubles

I have Hopgood & maybe Fainu and will get to around 11 or 12 in rd16

My tactic this season is to try and maintain position over the major byes and have a strong team for both the minor byes and the rounds in between while making sure I don't run out of trades before rd 20 so I can actually upgrade when players become available.

I don't plan to load my team up with dudes I don't actually want. I'm gambling on making any bye losses up by having a good team.

I'll let you know how it goes Very Happy

Do we think Nikorima this week scores:

    TU: over 40
    TD: under 40

God Suaali'i and his terrible running style is annoying. Had him locked in as a RD 16 # and then useful EMG with his duel for the rest of the season. He even scored alright last week to make it seem a good call.

Now don't know what to do with the wastrel.

Do I cash down to the likes of Fainu?? Hate a dead spot in the team but the cash is nice and Sualii is basically that anyway. Getting pretty low on trades for this sort of trade at 7 before trades and one is set aside for getting rid of Cleary.

Or do I waste some cash upgrading him, but who to??

    Decisions decisions.

I could do the same and shall ponder it. Hate losing Fifita but if it turns out to be 5 games and I didn't sell....hmmm. Toughest trade week this week.

Another aspect to this that we need to think about is round 17. I'll have 2 Tigers plus 3 Dogs. Then Fifita and Ted on potential backup from Origin, or not backing up. Could be out 7 players. 8 if Fainu is gone by then.

I think to maximise points, selling is a slightly better option thinking about it now but I think I'll still hold til next week as there's too many question marks on trade in options,.or they simply aren't worth trading in this week. As I said, the only option I'd trade him to would be Matterson. If he's not back next week, I don't think he's worth trading if you can field 17 this week and close to a full squad next week.

In summary, if Matterson is in next week, strong chance Fifita goes for him.

My guts saying the same. His 40’s included 2 TA’s a game and last week felt like he was involved in everything haha.

My decisions to flick him this week to Moses or wait… think the worry or a 40 point scoring difference might do it for me

Same here. Have 12 for the week and don't have the trades to look at getting 13.

Just noticed in NRL stats based off this that Nikorima has more TAs than Cleary this season

If I don't play Nikorima I'm playing Harrison Edwards or Billy Smith

So Niko in the loop and hope he goes well

    Looking at:

    Cleary to Penis
    Burbo to Fainu
    Loiero to Bateman

Gives me 4 on round 17 bye in Preston, Oloapu, Bula and Bateman but maybe Oloapu will be a round 17 sell?…. I see Loiero to Bateman as a 10 point upgrade.

    Gives me…

    Liddle
    Haas Horse Tatola
    Bateman Preston
    Moses SJ
    Lemu Penis
    Teddy Manu Bula

    Boyd Hopgood Ponga Fainu
    AJ Oloapu Robson JDB

    Thoughts?

    That’s with 8 trades and 766k spare.

    Round 16 would have

    Robson
    Hopgood Fainu
    Bateman Preston
    Moses Oloapu
    Penis
    Manu Ponga Bula

    Thoughts?

I was keen on Turpin but I mean I already have 3 hookers.

Or does anyone think I should still get Turpin over Fainu?

I've got 10 currently for rd 16, with the plan to bring in Elliott, and maybe a hooker. Not sure who that hooker would be though. Best case I'll have 12 for rd 16 (only 2 MIDs)

Want to trade out Hosking, ideally for a 2RF.
    Thinking Hopgood or Bateman.
H2H only, so don't care about bye rounds.
    TU - Bateman
    TD - Hopgood

Looking at Drinkwater and Tago next week for my CTR/WFB combo to get me up to Round 19.

    Probably overkill
