I held both Bird and Cleary this week too. Had them traded out but reversed when I realised I could get Metcalf and Pongas scores into my 17 instead and wait for next week for trades when the origin picture is clearer.
680/12 from me so far:
Hynes(c), Preston, Loiero, Hedwards and Grant to come

Was going to flick one of them to Turpin but after Koros injury I decided Simpkin will work best for my team.Revraiser wrote:

Moses and Matterson are targets for next week if they are available. If not I’ll look elsewhere. Just felt that Niko and Seles scores were good enough to cover Cleary and Bird this week

One of the benefits of fucking your team up so bad is you can play Granville at MID next week
That will make up for running Haas-less all season to avoid having too many Origin players yeah?

I'd be holding Sele if I owned him, more money to make, apart from rd 16 unavailability. .Keen on Havilli if he gets back to last seasons scoring.

Below par this week, which is crazy as I have some huge scores. Currently have fallen out of the top 100 with 12/652 and CHynes, Hopgod, Edwards, Presto, Oloapu to come. Carrying Billy Smith, JDB, Robson & Drinky has made life a bit harder this week.
IKat to Moses if he isn't playing origin next week is my only planned trade, maybe BSmith depending on his injury
Have made a few decisions that turned out poorly of late; keeping IKat over Niko was definitely a big one, trading BSmith in to cover Bird a few weeks back another. Thought I was being smart trading in Timoko as a POD and I kinda mattnzed that one too. I think I just need to buckle down and stay conservative over the byes (hence not risking it with Moses this week).

I won’t lie trading out Niko and Sele could be tough next week. They’ve grown on me haha
450k since trading them in back in Rounds 6/7

Love yafss. Went cleary yo Johnson as my only trade. Went captain Moses assuming everyone will go hynes with no cleary. Liked the Moses matchup v dogs and thought he'd get his hands on the ball in attack more with no dbrown.
Seeing Moses as 14% captain makes me so keen to watch the next 2 games haha.
Dropped ranks to closer to 1k than the top 100 - but hoping I can pull things back with 3 or 4 big trades next week!
Been busy af so wasn't able to watch ydays games. Just read the last 20 pages to catch up, excellent bants as always.

With YAFSS, do you count your players excluding loops or including them? I imagine it would be without?

The trick is knowing when to sell players at the right time. Nikorima having risk of SOS back in a few rounds and his versatility possibly dropping him back to bench + eventually you would think the attacking stats dry up
Similar with Sele with 3 byes remaining
Nikorima making nearly 300k after the shocking first round of ownership with the sin bin is hilarious though

On 861/13(c) with Tigers updates
Loiero, Moses, Hopgood, Preston left.
Speaking about players that are going to be hard to sell, Walsh is going to have a low BE and Titans and Dolphins after the bye. Logically though, he’s going to likely be rested post Origin and maybe once in the run in + all byes remaining (factoring in byes, Broncos are 4pts clear of Panthers in 1st)

It counts the first 17 green dots, so if you have a red dot in 17 and a green dot in 18 it will be accurate.
If you have a red dot in your WFB, and a MID green dot in 18, it will count the MID green dot even though it shouldn't.

Some massive scores here. I’m exactly on average on YAFSS both with and without my loop.
First time Hynes captainer, let’s go

Haha keep thinking the road will end with both of them. And they just keep producing scores. Maybe I’ll just sell JFH instead and keep one of them.Camo123 wrote:

Most likely the bye feels the best time to part ways and hopefully Simpkin continues their fine work

Dolphins said SOS back after the bye i believe so Niko could hold the 6 or go into the hooker rotation with JMKs shoulder troubles.
Probably a good move to hop off now.
