Edwards, Oloapu, Alamoti all putting their hands up for a trade out. $605k in the bank means we can make a move or 2.

Any suggestions, lets talk here

We could do with a little depth in the halves I think, or is the plan to bring back the Chin?

Definitely think we trade those 3 and vow never to have 4 Bulldogs again.

On who comes IN, think we need to decide whether to push for R19 or just get longer-term picks. Below is just me thinking out loud, not a coherent strategy

R19 team as it currently stands (assuming 3 Bulldogs out)

So we have additional forwards, an additional half (Niko trade at R19?)

Need a hooker, centre, 2*WFB - if we wanted to aim for 13 in R19

But outside Bird (assuming he's fit), no real standouts to get right now in terms of players that are both R19 and keepers. Not sure we have trades to stuff about with R19 cash grabs we might get stuck with anyway. Should leave too late if we can.

So I think the focus should be Origin players we want as keepers that are good value. Preferably those with no byes left in the run home e.g. Grant, Munster/DCE, Yeo. Klese Haas as an enabler. Or Hands if Hodgson is long term out, helps with R19 (but also gives us 4 hookers)

Currently 7 on bye + 3 to back up (would think all 3 back up pending Origin)

Edwards, Alamoti and Oloapu are clear trade outs. I would also probably sell Nikorima but may need Preston as more expensive 

Need WFB/CTR, HLF and EDG I think. So would look at Bird, DCE/Munster, KHaas

Haven't done sums but getting the Bird, Munster, Khaas/Hands* for the three Bulldogs chumps while keeping a cash reserve for post R19 shopping spree would be nice

*depends on whether it's more important to have EDG cover now or HOK cover in R19 AND if Hodgson is confirmed done

Jed Cartwright is very useful as a 2rf this week and a centre in R19, assuming he keeps his spot for the next few weeks. Would probably target Haas (the real one) as an Origin gun, as long as he backs up.
