This Tesi Niu situation is interesting...

He played QLD Cup last week when the Dolphins were on the bye (and McGrady didn't play) so maybe Wayne had decided after the drubbing to the Sea Eagles that Niu was gone and McGrady was going to get the bye week to train with the team and then come in.

If McGrady is named again next week I'll be doing Niko to him. A bonus he plays rd19 when everyone has WFB gaps.

Would anyone do Niko to Grant this week? Will SOS kill chances of a decent score? Niko will be superfluous to my halves requirements in rd 19 *IF* Hynes and SJ remain available. It's an upgrade you'd think, but feels a little luxury. three trades left. For all we know, carnage could strike the remaining games this weekend and I might want that trade back. Or Niko might be able to limp through to rd19 assuming Hynes gets called up to origin again. Any thoughts?

Seems like a good trade. Niko will need the attacking stats you would think as SOS probably handles a lot of the kicking. I don't Niko is a major concern though, not this week anyway. I know that doesn't help at all.

Got a few hours to toss up Hands and another shitto to run this week and save some coin or go Hands and probably use the coin and grab Penis as a centre keeper. Or could go Guth/Sami/Brimson, not sure.

I'd go for it, unless money is super tight for future trades, or you're worried about Grant having limited minutes this week after origin.

Niko isn't a keeper, so you aren't really saving a trade by holding him. And Grant is likely to outscore him (unless he gets a decent rest this week after origin)

    Same bye schedule
    Meaney cheaper
Meaney averaging 46 this year, Garrick averages 49 at FB but Meaney better job security you'd think. I don't see Pappy playing in regular season this year. Garrick might not even play FB or if he does this week, no guarantee he keeps it, did I hear a rumour about RTS last night??
I think Manly will struggle more than the Storm who could go on a run, and Meaney benefits as GK

I vote Meaney. BUT, doesn't everyone already have a million FB's? He doesn't play rd19, so is he really better than whoever else you have?

I think there's a good chance Hynes plays origin 3 though. Are they going to stick with Luai on the theory that its back to Cleary/Luai next year? Or are they going to give someone else a run.

I'd argue he wasn't free of injury to start with.

    He didn't have a pec injury pre-origin

In a similar boat with Lemu to Haas. Output likely to be affected and always planned to trade if benched. Would be a Rd 19 number too.

Kodi doesn't seem as urgent, but it's a longterm upgrade. Garlick and Wishart on the bench, so I didn't consider Grant for captaincy this week. I guess best case would be Grant and Kodi score around the same, but that's a down game for Grant and a pretty good one for Kodi. If we knew Hynes was going to be picked, I'd be inclined to hold.. 3 weeks of Kodi (though assuming he'd be in the loop next week) should be close to 2 games of Grant. I said that about Loiero though playing 3 games vs 2 and he completely shit the bed..

He has been building his running and strengthening load.

He is expected to start training in July.

A return to play won't happen until he is back to full training.
The way things have gone, it's hard to imagine that being before August
