Only 840 last week, down to 484 in ranks

4 trades and $74k to get things going again - what are we going to do

If Turpin is fit then probably just Nikorima to a cashout like Simpkin. Although already having 4 hookers could be a problem.

Puts some money in the bank for next week

We're a bit overloaded with hookers, but if TLT is friendly we still have what should be a strong 17, it's just a few of them had down weeks or post-Origin minutes management last week. No obvious sells (worth holding Niko for a week in case Hynes picked for Origin). Stand pat and use our trades next week instead, imo.

Ponga to HLF and Bula into WFB will cover us if Hynes is picked.
Preston and IPap replace Matterson and Hopgood.

Just leaves Niko as 17th man. So could stay as is or downgrade

Ponga doesn't play R19. Niko is a sell next week if we have Hynes and SJ at half for that round, but a hold until R20 if Hynes is out.

Our current full strength team is

    Grant
    JDB Harris Horse
    iPap Hopgood
    Hynes SJ
    Bird Lemuelu
    Teddy Manu Bula

    Cook Robson Matterson Preston
    Ponga Hands Niko Turpin

Post origin (or maybe even this week) we want Haas, Fifita, Cleary

Niko + Turpin out for funds, Preston and maybe Robson/Matterson/Tohu for Haas and Fifita

Then work out what to do with Cleary when he returns. Then just look for value where we can find it
We don't really have funds to do much with Niko this week unless there's a good downgrade option that plays 19 in a position we want

Scratch what I said about Niko. He's a trade from the bench. Think Kris is a good buy for this team's structure, which is light on WFB/CTR cover and particularly needs some for R19 (and thus week).

Bird can hit the revolving door too, for Fifi or Haas.

If Lemmy stays bench, we still have a centre problem post-Origin, but that can be sorted later.

Do we want to trade Bird out now
or give him a week to see if he comes back.

Could go either way, but with a chronic injury we'll probably be having this discussion again if we hold him. We have enough trades left to accept if we've just made a bad one and correct it quickly.

Think its worth holding Bird at least until next week's big bye.
