Bit miffed that I’ve not been able to improve over the last month despite doing my best to conserve when others have been doing for broke just to field 17 some weeks

How many do you have left? Get 13 on the field and have a couple up your sleeve for round 20 before using any of the extra 8.  Next two weeks is the last big chance for a push IMO.

I saved trades over this period too and can agree that it wasn’t the right play. Was sitting top 100 before being safe and now sitting with 4 trades (7 before this week) and down in the 300/400’s and only 9/10 this round.

I can only guess their entire first 13 was taken out by typhoid or whatever olden day disease was rampant at the time.

So yeah. Tigers biggest losers over 115 years of footy, excluding 8 days in 1935

The 1935 games were also played with 3 point tries. Would have been a lot worse without it

Those 4 trades could be worth 150-200 points for you next week over many of those ahead of you though... see where you land after that.

Thanks mate cheer Yeah I gotta be happy with the score and rank movement. Just a bit annoyed that I went against my mantra of "what's the point of having cover if you won't use it?". Especially when it involves a CTR. Fifita or DCE could cop a knock and Ramien murders it though, so no point lamenting it.

I feel bad you didn't get on Drinky. You put him on my radar and I kinda talked him down, but traded him in the following week.. Almost went for Campbell though which would've been an absolute disaster. Major turning point for me.. thanks for putting me onto him though Embarassed

Hopefully I can follow you, Mulvy and Welshy up the ranks the next few cheer Will try to drag Camo, Wolfy, CHEWIE, et al along too Very Happy

Don’t feel bad at the end of the day I pulled the trigger so it’s on me missing him and getting AJ lol I always have one thing like that a decision that always costs me. Anyway AJ plays the Dogs next week hopefully he can score 4 tries as long as Cody misses origin.

I need to climb a bit lost around 350 ranks the last three weeks.

I think updates are in. I’ve managed to stay just inside the top 100 (98th), up from 104. Been top 100 a few times in live play, but first time to end a round.

Hoping to make a big push next week. Have enough trades that I’m prepared to do some strange stuff to field 13 if there’s carnage.

If the Dogs wanted to improve player/fan relations, perhaps they should consider not having Mahoney attend post match press conferences Laughing

I’m pretty sure whatever gains I make next week will be it. It’s starting to look like the correct strategy during the byes this years was trade trade trade. Especially with the new ones kicking in soon I think they have the leg up

First time breaking 1000 for me this year, 1028. Pretty good while missing 3 guns thanks to the Eels bye. Having guys like Simpkin, Sandon Smith and VTW making good cash is pretty nice, and Teddy isn't dead yet.

If SJ and Hynes both out who do you even bring in as half cover? Metcalf? Fogarty?

Would definitely take a crack at Metcalf if he has a non kicking half next to him

    Maybe a week of Trindall!!

I haven’t looked at all, but first instinct is Walker and Trindall

The ideal situation for us with trades to burn is Hynes, SJ and Horse missing next week since I’m guessing they would be pretty highly owned.
