Well, I'm 497 with Smith (C), Surgess, Carter, Johnson and Barba to go. Should at least beat my 630ish score from last week unless disaster strikes. Should help me slowly start to make back ground.
My h2h matchup I have Johnson + 147 vs Turner, DCE, CWalker + Unknown. Going to be toight like a toiger i think.

Wow what a day out in Burnley at the footy haha. Sounds like craziness happened during my sleep with teams and what not.

J Saifiti scoring a 40 has got to make me think about how soon I can sell Kane Evans. There's a few guys sitting on my bench are scoring just as well as him if not better and so if he's not even one of the best reserve choices I could make then best move him on. I'm sure if I do he'll crack 40 the week I do though

Ive only been watching the replays, but how good is Anthony Milford playing? Hes playing like he did when he was at the Raiders. With scores of 33/53/88... not too bad. I know he relies heavily on attacking stats, but thats his game.
Cartwright did well, however he had a few attacking stats too, and a try so that inflated his score a little. Whitehead was awesome...
Parker was average again... I know you dont trade keepers, and an average of 50 is good, but is there better players for less $$ than Parker

I missed most of panthers game, TMM does his score reflect how he played? The bits and pieces u saw he was involved, but was he good throughout?
If so then hastings probably gonna go for him, i have dce, hastings, taylor, walker in halves. Taylor is getting better and has more job security longterm, walker is in a dominant rabbits, dce is a gun. Leaves hastings who might get 60-70k more.....but if tmm averages 30-40 in the next 3 weeks he gets 170kish with a chance to secure starting.
Sound reasonable?

I have DCE, Hastings, Taylor and J.Nikorima as went Garvey instead of Walker. Why do all the cows have to be in the Halves ? He scored a try and a field goal. So take out those points only and it takes his score from 71 to 58. He looked really good in defence though.
I think its a good idea getting him in, but is it worth burning a precious trade for a quick cash grab?

Before I start let me just say, I was a little distracted for a good portion of the game, but since you haven't got many replies yet I'll give my 2c from what I did see. Someone can come on later and explain how I'm completely wrongShowbags wrote:I missed most of panthers game, TMM does his score reflect how he played? He looked really good to me. Was particularly impressed with his defence, which I think the stats show was pretty solid for a half. Wouldn't be surprised if his score does yoyo a bit but those tackle busts weren't a fluke. Funny enough the guy I think his scores will be most similar to is Milf; using his running game to break tackles and score himself and then setting up tries with it later when defences pay him more attention.
What I didn't pay attention to was the kicking game and the stats suggest he didn't do any, which is both suprising and a little concerning for a half. Those are usually nice base stats to rely on. Panthers have very low kick meters for the game in general though.
I'm kind of thinking the same as you for Re Hastings.

Yes he was on 39 points at half-time and that mostly on the strength of his running game and defence. He missed 2 tackles from 25 attempts which is pretty good for a half who had a lot of traffic directed his way trying to test him out. His try was kind of luck based that he was in the right place at the right time but he was popping up all over the field and wanted to get involved.
I think he might be the Jack Bird of 2016 in regards to he'll get some really good scores and maybe even a try or two in his first few weeks because opposition teams will just have no clue how to prepare for him and know everything he's capable of.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 14
@Archer. Cheers for the review. If is a milford type player then i am definitely getting him, with his price point a mid 20-30 point game with get his be and if he jags a big play then he will score big. I really dont want to trade out a producing cow for cow lol. I am not at home to check milch's price predicter, but with an average of 35, hastings would only get 70k in next 5 rounds before pearce is back?

So with Segeyaro not due back till round 7 I think? Will TMM play until then or was it just because Merrin was out and Peachey switched to 2RF?

I suspect we won't know until you see (C)am play. So many teams will have him as captain its going to be tricky to tell until then.Bren wrote:Whats considered a good score this week? 850+? Any 900+ out there?
