Re: NRL Fantasy 2023 Part 69 - Nice
Is it too late to jump on Hopgood as a H2H player?
most of my competion have him.
I have the Cleary bank to go Simpkin up to anyone 830k or under.
If i want Cleary then I need to also move out Robson (dont hate it as have Grant) or wait 2 weeks to move out Sandon.
Like alot of people im short a mid this week with No Haas or Horse.
Already have Fifi Bateman Ipap so its more the mid status then the edge.

Pretty much yeah
Doesn't play final round
People were talking a few days ago at selling sooner rather than later because they also Lane/Matterson back now to potentially take minutes off (Esp Matterson)

Ah yes Cleary in reserves. Ah well I will just be trading Boyd to him and we should find out at 24hr cut anyway

I'm Canberra at the moment, so no access to spreadsheets.
I'd prioritise points over cash at this point anyway. If you can afford the trade, do it. BEs only relevant if you are extremely tight on cash, she even then its ready for things to go wrong

Something I just realised
Manu averages less at CTR this season than Penis (CTR) and Null (EDG). And he nets way more cash. Admittedly small sample size. But food for thought if you have too many CTRs like me

Have
Yeo Mofo Haas Horse.
saying that is making me think just cop the donut this week or cash down Fainu to Garlick.
Robson Simpkin to Cleary Garlick is another option.
tempted to actually rolle the dice with just Grant Garlick as Hookers and move on Robson given he is missing the 2nd H2H final and I can get a better scoring guy in the 18-21 spot like Munster for only 70k more etc. or doing the above and getting Cleary.

Hmm Manu's cash would make my trades much easier.. Food for thought indeed. I half expected Null back to the bench so it's good he's held his spot. His scoring has been pretty concerning lately though

Not a bad shout. If anything happens to Grant you have the Garlick handcuff.Holzman wrote:

Robson not really necessary at this stage

I don't know if you have a 6th sense at this stage (not expecting any calculations or math) but if you had to guess how bad would it be to hold Bula this week on a scale of 1 to 5 with 1 being my Lomax trade in and 5 being Camo's Yeo trade in?Milchcow wrote:

Yeah I’m not sure I do it yet. Manu also has that upside where he’s one Teddy injury from being the #1 fantasy option at either WFB or CTR. I feel he’s the one guy I could regret selling the most in my whole squad. But it’s definitely interesting.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2023 Part 69 - Nice
TLT's got me in a trading mood, looks like I'm using 4 of them this week.
Liddle to Grant
Tatola to Nanai (Max King is the alternate option if Nanai gets pulled out 24hr before)
VTW to Suaalii (back on the wing - otherwise I wouldn't bother)
Russell to Kiraz (may get CTR dual and seems over his injury)
Leaves me $5k bank and 5 trades

- Team post-trades:
Grant
Haas, AFB, JDB
Fifita, Bateman
Hynes (C), SJ
Lemuelu, Manu
Edwards, Ponga, Bula
Robson, Nat Butcher, Hopgood, Nanai

I think if you hold this week it’s with the intent of holding until the season ends. Which isn’t the worst as a loop WFB3 or 17th man IMO

Level 10 would be my Marzhew and Cotter trade in timings

Manu with his byes done is helpful, but can see why Gaz was looking at selling him. 700k goes a long way to Cleary, Fifita, Haas etc. I already cashed out Bird and Lemu to Ramien and picked up Manu after his price drops, so I should quit while I'm ahead with CTR trade roulette. Having Manu and Teddy feels like I can offset the loss somewhat if Teddy gets a rest and Manu goes to FB.

Who would you trade this week... Simpkin or Null? Based on breakevens
Null: starting 2rf, breakeven of 44
Simpkin: Api back, breakeven of 8
Maybe keeping Null is the way (proven upside?).
