Fair point. Hadn't even considered he could be out next week. Keeping an uninjured Teddy could be the safer play.

Have posted this a couple times but seems most missed/glossed past it already
Lets reformat this in case this helps (This is pre Carrigan out too and probably Arthars starting)
This was based on the team rolling out as listed
Palasia 313k
Palasia is the big minute prop with Haas/Flegler out
The last 2 starts this year (rds 13 and 19) when Haas was out he played 52 and 54mins
As a starting prop last year (7 starts) he averaged the same minutes with even a couple 80mins games (1 on edge) so he has a big motor
His career starting prop (11 games) he averages 37pts 54mins
Take out a couple sub 50min games and this becomes 39pts and 60mins
Jensen is playing 35mins and that seems his role the past few years and is consistent (may increase to 45mins as starting prop)
Taupau is only getting 28mins and used in small bursts
Willison is a 17mins player
Smoovy is a hooker utility to share with Walters
Arthars is a back/utility
It's all guess work and I hate guessing roles/mins but a calculated guess he scored 35-40pts and plays 50-55mins
Could also use him as a cash out and play him at 21
If he shits the bed then bring in a mid gun elsewhere and you miss his score, broncos play 3pm saturday (so check at 5pm)
The point is for his price it's all bonus then you can bury him at 21 for the season

How long is Riki out? I’m between Piakura and Graham aswell
Casualty ward has it at R26, but I swear I've seen R24 around a few different places too.
The more I think about it, the more Haas to Yeo is probably just the play, and the extra ~40k that nets means I shouldn't have to worry about playing the BE game if I want to go Hopgoood/SJ to Cleary next week.

I looked at Piakura but he seems like a pretty shitty scorer tbh. Not sure I want a guy who scores 20s until he loses his spot.

You'd think reduced minutes for Nanai/Cotter

With it being Christmas in July time, I thought a festive tune was in order. Feel free to add to this.
To the song It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year
It’s the most frustrating time of the year
Certain players aren’t playing
And everyone’s saying the panic is here
It’s the most frustrating time of the year
It’s the crap-crappiest post Origin round
With Teddy being rested and patience being tested
Here is one thing I’ve found
It’s the crap-crappiest post Origin round
What should one do with Payne Haas
Is it worth all the cost
Of losing twenty points or so
David Fifita’s a maybe
Has SJ’s wife had the baby
Sounds like DCE is the way to go

Yeah whoever I bring in this week will probably be playing so it’s between the two Broncos cheapies and Graham. Hopefully won’t be needing them after this week. Palasia feels the safestmrbrownstone wrote:

Are dual position updates this week or next week? I desperately need Bateman to be a MID as I have Haas, Murray and Horse all out this week and Teddy, Walsh, Cook out too. 4 trades won't be enough.

From the app - post R20. Sorry dude, you're SOL and playing short.
If it makes you feel any better, you're still probably going to outscore my 17 muppets.

Thanks guys. That's annoying timing. By next week I'll have too many mids. I might have to waste a trade to get Moeaki or someone for this week. I've dropped from 300th to 1500th in the last few weeks by playing short, so I need to have 17 this week. But figuring out how to make it work has been impossible. Especially with 3 teams on a bye and post Origin. At least everyone is in the same boat.
