Yep that's about it. Think he will average more out of the two of them with a much better chance of going and putting up a banner. And if Yeo did get a rest in the final round then they play the same number of games anyway (however likely that is). Don't have any broncos so the bye isn't too concerning in that way

    Fair enough

I would get Yeo (Or both) simply because of the Broncos bye

Last thing you want is Broncos bye and a Mid not being available for whatever reason

But it's all ifs buts and maybes at this stage, will you get Murray? Or no because of the bye?

Yep very likely getting Murray, too cheap not to. Basically he becomes the cheaper alternative to one of Yeo or Haas.

Haas current average 66, 6 games left = 396 points
    Yeo 63 average, 7 games left = 441 points

So if Haas is your only Bronco, if your 18th man can get more than 45 points, then Haas is better than Yeo (if they maintain current average)
If I owned either one I definitely wouldn't spend a trade switching between them.

I can see the upside in Haas though, as he's the one more likely to go 90+

Also Hopgood ended up with 56 from 61 mins, still almost PPM and if that offload came off that he threw forward, that's 60 points and his score looks different

    He's still a keeper imo

When he was off after his first stint for 18 points or whatever I thought his time might be up but given he got 60 minutes in a full strength pack, what else are we looking for? I have Matto too so he obviously goes first for me, but if RCG gets suspended that no doubt helps both of them.

I personally think it's Haas all day every day over Yeo.

If you see Hopgood as a 55-60 player in current role, I still think it's worth getting Haas in as a 65-70 player for $40k outlay. Depends if you have anyone else to sell.

The supplementary question is which one of Hors, Hop and JDB would you sacrifice to get Haas? Answer is Hopgood for me.

That's what it boils down to really and thought that after I posted. As I mentioned, I have to see him more as a keeper currently due to the fact of having Matto and NAS currently. No point keeping both of them and trading Hop to Haas IMO so definitely comes down to your squad balance and priorities.

Saying that, I do have the trades that if I need to upgrade him afterwards, he becomes the clear upgrade to a Yeo or Haas. Or downgrade to Murray if the cash is to be used elsewhere.

Key factor here is how many trades you have left

Some people have 8-10 trades hanging around, and for those people I think its a great upgrade. But if you have 4 or less, you will be putting a lot of faith in no injuries to spend a trade on a mino rupgrade with 7 weeks still to play

Yeah RCG suspension might make the decision easy but when they're full strength I wouldn't be surprised to see Matto and Hopgood alternate larger and smaller minutes a bit? Matto 43mins was surprising.

At $815k you really want reasonably safe mid-high 50s from Hopgood, otherwise that cash can be used elsewhere very nicely (eg Haas) he'd need to hit that 0.9-0.95ppm area every game if playing 60mins which I'm not sure happens every week depending on the game flow.

It kind of just appeals to me in an anti POD way to get rid of him given he is 99% owned in top 100

What to do with Tohu... Could see him soldiering on and continuing to put up high 50s, could also see him finally succumbing to multiple issues and having minutes managed or missing a game or two

I'm holding both Tohu and AFB. My plan was always to draft AFB in for a few weeks to cover Horse and then flip him to Cleary for the Warriors bye. Thankfully held off on that trade this week but maybe it should be Tohu who goes given I have enough cash to do either?

Looks like AFB is commencing another try scoring run

I think people are slightly overvaluing Haas and slightly undervaluing Hopgood but it’s a nice trade.

I don't have him (and have never owned him for this precise reason) but I also think there is a tendency to undervalue Yeo because he is 'boring'

I'm going to have a look at how the finances roll out but might do a sideways move for him (already holding both Hopgood and Haas)

Webster has maintained throughout the season (Especially first half) that he always wants to take Tohu off for a break, but injuries or something else happened that means Tohu had to keep playing

Warriors are almost at full strength now, Bunty will be back on Friday so you'd imagine Tohu getting a rest might start happening more often, perhaps a few less mins for AB as well? Although not ideal having both off at the same time
