Haha I thought there must have been some ghost updates lol or downdates since that was the flavour.

I think at this point you are chasing ceiling players and those averages don’t really matter? There’s 7 rounds left and Manu if more likely to pump out an 80 than Kris

What do we think about Cook? Is he a sell, and if so is it worth running with only Grant for the run home with no cover?

I did get Cleary for Manu so there’s a good ceiling there. And normal CTR will be Lemu. It’s entirely team dependent. Manu can average 75 from here and the move still would’ve made sense for me with the available info at the time

Dammit Piakura is out again tomorrow, so I guess Carrigan is in the second row again.

Looks like I can do Robson/Harris to McInnes/Murray and call it a day

I quite like Frizell as well as an anti-pod to Murray who has no more byes left either

He goes alright at that beach sprinting thing. And, as far as having Grant as a solo hooker, I couldn’t do it and have brought in an insurance policy.

Seems I quoted the wrong person. NRL Fantasy 2023 Part 73 - 98% Stand and Applaud - Page 51 1f602

    Anyone skipping Haas??  I might.  Funds are a little tight and Hands no longer looking playable it really messes with the team balance.  I think I've landed on;

    Bula - DCE
    NAS - Murray

    Grant
    Murray Horse JDB
    Fifita Bateman
    Hynes Cleary
    Penis Manu
    Ted Ponga Drinkwater

    DCE Hopgood Null SJ

    Hands Avo VTW Colq

5 trades left but still 3 Eels is a concern.  Was looking I could use the extra trade and turn Penis into Kris and get Haas instead of Murray I guess but again, leaves things a little weak in terms of depth and would be playing Kris more than likely.  Penis against Seve/YoungT could be juicy for him.  At least with this I can at least loop Hands.  I think Avo against the Dolphins though might be worth playing regardless.  I guess he could slot in to centres if I were to look at trading Penis and put Kris and Hands in a loop.

Was all over McInnes last night but on reflection, Murray has the higher ceiling and can match Haas in the scoring. Was worried about the HIA's but can't really think like that.

I’m skipping Haas and Fifita, 1 week in it seems to be fine

    Murray or Haas

Feels like I'm overthinking it and Haas is the obvious and safer pick but a potential return to form for Murray is tempting.

If money really isn't an issue, Haas.

I'd say luxury. It's likely an upgrade, but not enough when it leaves so low on trades, so I vote luxury.

Agree, probably not with leaving only 2 trades.

Is it worth going down to 1 trade if it means trading Hands and Piakura for Frizell/Muz and Soni Luke? I was probably going to use 2 of my last 3 trades on these guys anyway.

Hands isn't really playable anymore (and has the bye R27 so isn't even really a hedge against a Grant rest anyway) while Piakura may only have one more week left (Riki due back R24-26).

my 17th man is very weak so I'm thinking I just do it and run the following team with 1 trade left and hope for the best. I'm leaning towards Friz over Muz as the POD option with a nice draw and no annoying bye in R26 but could go either way.

If you were going to use two of your last three trades with six weeks remaining, i wouldnt be bringing in what is basically a red dot (when you already have a red dot)

Have ended up skipping both Haas and Yeo and don't feel too lacking at all given Horse, JDB, Murray are all up there close enough.

I have the same three eels and getting rid of Hands this week. Considering Penis too but very hard to get rid of him averaging 49 this year with Moses playing. Turning him into Kris so you can go Haas instead of Murray is definitely not worth it imo.

I think ideally you should be trying to get rid Hands too? Who can you get if you trade Hands instead of Bula?

The point of bringing in Soni is that he won't be a red dot, odds are he'll stay in that team and provide emergency hooker cover if I need it (which is what Hands would be doing) but I can use the money to significantly improve my 17.

Also helps that I don't have that many players with remaining byes after this week, and no more than one in any one round (only got Haas in R25 and Hopgood in R27, that's it).

I'm ranked 4000, it's not like I have much to lose anyway.
