I brought McInnes in for bye coverage in round 19. Sold him last week to Murray. Should have held in hindsight

If you’re doing this have to look at your Murray replacement in R26

    So it’s not say

    McInnes is 55*6 = 330
    Murray is 60*5 = 300

It’s that plus add whatever you think your 18th man is worth. Anything over 30 in the above example, you take Murray.

Note you should chuck in your own numbers I just made up some round ones for quick maffs

This is a really valid point that I feel people often forget when assessing trades. Very unlikely that you wont be fielding 17 in the week Murray has a bye.
Very similar to VORP in fantasy basketball circles.

If money wasn't an issue, who do people prefer for the run home?
    Murray or Haas

Feels like I'm overthinking it and Haas is the obvious and safer pick but a potential return to form for Murray is tempting.

McInnes numbers without Finucane are quite good. But then if you filter by just this year they aren’t that much better. Minutes seem to be the issue

Any idea if Kowloon returns to the starting edge spot? Good tackler, passed the eye test and I need a cheapie. Shame he got that suspension.

I suppose we won’t know till next week. Depends how they see his future, would seem quite harsh to do that to a young guy who was putting in on debut.

I’m an owner so I’m hoping he gets the chance to slot back in next week

I think if they beat the Panthers it'll be hard to change their set-up, maybe Colq comes back on bench.

But it's also pretty hard to see them beating the Panthers.

Is Manu to Garrick an upgrade, or a luxury trade, I would have 2 left after this.

    I’d say luxury

Yes Manu CTR average blah blah but has an equally high ceiling

Yeah Panthers at home will have far too much for the Sharks I think.

We will see what next week brings

Roosters *seem* to be finding some semblance of form, Manu might find his groove if they get properly rolling towards the finals

Not to mention Manu is running at some fairly leaky opposite numbers in his draw

Aitken/VTW (would assume Aitken moves back to the left but neither of them are great defenders anyway)

I think another related aspect to VORP is positional considerations when assessing players

Haas and Fifita both average 65

But there are a bunch of MIDs that average low 60s

Outside of Hopgood, the next best EDG is 55ish.

Makes Fifita a better fantasy asset than Haas IMO.

For all the 2% mockery last week both my centres outscored Manu. One of them was Kris.

My bad was thinking the 50 the week before

Still not sure why not owning a career 40-45 average CTR scoring 45 has me clenching tho

Not a H2H player, but 1 doesn’t improve your scoring at all this week, and I’d think that’s the priority. So I’d go 2 or hold
