Whilst I generally agree with this sentiment, I think there are a couple of times where its useful

Namely, for the people chasing booze for 1st overall, its probably worth considering Booze's team when making trades.
Although there's probably still enough weeks to go that picking the high scoring player is the best move, as we get closer to the end, they may have to pick a POD to give themselves a chance.

(I'm also picking a POD captain this week as I think its my best chance of winning the monthly)

    100%

    very specific scenarios though.

if you're 1500th, picking a 'pod' just for that sake is somewhat pointless.

people do worry about everyone having similar teams, but generally speaking, you can have 16 of the same 17, but if your 17th player scores 40 pts more than your opponents, that's a fairly significant difference in one week

the question is, will it be tedesco, or garrick?

I think one of the podcasts pointed out that he's perfect for fantasy because his positioning is so bad that he doesn't even get an MT for all the tries he ships, and then he gets a few tackle busts with every first hit-up after the kickoff.

Scoring is actually insane for a winger. Like prime To’o or Nofo

I thought I was reading my autobiography for a moment, until the eliminator smack talk. Got too busy with work / life and missed the entry. Saved me getting bundled out in week 1 as per normal though lol!

Bahahaha, excellent. Glad I lived up to expectations.

I must have been sleep deprived, have zero recollection of that.

You can definitely see why despite the crazy attacking stats in NSW Cup it took forever for him to get a shot at first grade. Absolute defensive liability.
