Fpl 23/24

I'm going to try and ride through GW29 if I can - will need no unexpected (injury driven) transfers.

Then FH one of the doubles, BB the other, WC somewhere.

Probably not planning things out as much as I have the last 2-3 seasons so not really concrete.

me too, i think only Bowen and Son are my transfers in but it may just be bowen for KDB so i have bank for Salah later.

Good fanatics FPL comp this year!!! Currently hovering in 4th place, you boys ahead are crushing it.

Yeh, I'm also aiming to try and avoid FH in 29.

Reckon if you can cover the major assets - predominantly attacking ones, cos I don't see many clean sheets in 29 -with minimum 8 players out, then that could cover the majority of points in that week.

Got 4GW29 players at the moment though so will take a couple of hits to get there at least. Deadend into that week and then wildcard out of it in 30 or 31.

who do think are essentials. Son & Watkins obviously. Toney, Bowen as well I think. one of Luiz or Bailey - maybe? And Doughty (attacking returns) I think.

Struggling to see too many more absolutely essential options than those tbh - thoughts?

I’ve contemplated alternative of 9 in GW29 but it takes -8 if not -12 with price changes

Not actually sure I’ll have Bowen in FH team but good fixtures in 28 and 30. Feel like if I’m FH it’s better to place eggs all in one basket rather than having attacker vs defender which probably leads to something like this

Interesting! Good shout on Maddo/Richy -- I think one of them at least should be in there.

And very interesting shout on placing eggs in one basket. That is food for thought.

To get to 9 would also likely be a hit too many for me. if I decide I want 9/10, then I'll be FH too.

Bowen for me is a def in. Paqueta back and West ham will be better for it, if ultimately still pretty average. but Bowen is focal point of their attack, clinical, and works for their counter style. He'll get more goals even if they ain't winning games!

Played it already in R1 - tend to do that as I'm confident the bench will all start.

Barely lost ranks tho so everyone struggling

Have ended up transferring through 29. Will definitely do Gordon to Maddison and likely Solanke to Toney

-8 for Haaland/Foden/Walker to Morris/Bowen/Doughty not disastrous so far. Just need 1 return midweek from Morris to break even. Annoyed I didn’t back myself and go Maddison first so have to get through Europa League with Bowen .

Very much likely WC31, FH34, BB37 now

Change of plan. Running with 7 players in GW29, and playing the FH in GW34 (stlll intending to play WC in GW35 and BB in GW37).

Got spooked by Watkins's yellow flag and the threat of having only 6 players for GW29, so made an 11th-hour decision to play my FH.

Ended up with 15 points. If I had saved my FH (for GW34), I would have ended up with . . . 15 points. That's FPL for you. Haha!
